Physical Description: Addison stands at 5 feet, 3 inches tall with a slim stature. Her blond hair reaches to a little past her shoulders, and it is usually left down, in a ponytail, or braided. The color of her eyes is hazel. Her skin is light, but she does not burn easily. Instead, her skin takes a while to even darken. Her ears are pierced once at the lobe, where she always sports a variety of earrings.

Addie pays attention to her own hygiene. She takes showers every so often, and won't leave her dorm room until she washes herself up. Her fingernails and toenails are always kept short, and she usually paints both her fingernails and toenails with some variety of nail polish. Aside from the polish, she does not wear any other make-up, preferring to appear natural. Despite her seemingly clean ideas, she does not mind getting dirty.

During classes, Addie follows the dress code, not minding the restricted uniform that the students need to wear. After classes and on the weekends, she normally changes into her preferred clothing. She absolutely loves dresses and skirts, but won't shy away from wearing a t-shirt and jeans. Her preferred footwear mainly consists of sandals, flats, and even some heeled shoes. As long as she's comfortable in it, she would wear a variety of clothes.

Personality Description: Addison is generally a kind and friendly person. She likes making new friends, and she is loyal to the ones that she has made. An extrovert, she has no problem starting a conversation. Sometimes, she gets talkative and has to remember to stop talking. She occasionally gets hyper and energetic as well, but she tries to focus herself on her work. She is a curious individual, and doesn't mind exploring.

Generally, she maintains a high self-confidence, but this often fluctuates. Addie worries about doing well at school, and thus is a perfectionist. She has trouble handing in an assignment that is not up to her high standards, and will hand in that assignment late if she thinks that she could do better. Based on this, her work tends to be thoughtful and articulate. If she has to complete her work in a short amount of time for tests or other assignments, she will often stress out over the work and work feverishly to complete it.

When she has free time, Addie likes to read books from both the muggle world and the wizarding world. While she likes to draw, she keeps it to herself due to being self-conscious about it. She believes that her artwork doesn't maintain a good quality for her to show her friends. In addition, she likes fashion, and thus tries to wear clothing and shoes that she thinks looks good together. Despite liking fashion, she wouldn't go out of her way to try to obtain the best clothing items out there.

Academically, Addie strives to do well in all of her classes. However, she is fond of Herbology, Potions, and Ancient Runes. The classes that she needs to work the hardest in are Transfiguration and History of Magic, since they do not come easily to her. She likes Qudditch, and played a few friendly games herself as a chaser. But, she doesn't have any aspiration to be on her house's team. She likes muggle sports as well, having played soccer.

For the most part, Addie has a rather logical mind. She tends to do best with theoretical topics, finding those easier to understand. While the practical side to the theoretical topics aren't that much different, she does have to work harder to master casting a spell. In addition, she likes the numerical sides to both Ancient Runes and Arithmancy. When she has free time, she occasionally plays wizard's chess.

History: Addison was born on April 5, 1995, as the second child, to her muggle parents Michael and Linda Rockwell in Greenford, England. Her older brother, Jacob, was born a year before her and her younger brother, Kevin, was born a year after her. Immediately after being born, she consistently cried for the first few days. After finally coming home with her mother, she finally calmed down and stopped crying.

Being the middle child, Addie had trouble getting the attention of her parents at home. So, she consistently was very explorative, crawling around where she could after she learned to crawl. At an early age, she already showed artistic signs by drawing on the walls with crayons. Once she learned how to say her first words, she would consistently say these words to get her parents' attention. As her vocabulary improved, she began talking more and more to receive her parents' attention. Despite this, Addie was able to maintain a good relationship with her brothers, and would play with them as well. As with any other siblings, they did have an occasional argument or fight at home.

When Jacob started attending a nearby primary school, Ravenor Primary, when she was three, Addie was sad to see her brother gone for a portion of the day. But, she didn't need to wait long, since she started attending that very institution when she was four years old. While at Ravenor, she learned how to play soccer and she made friends with some of the other students at the school. She liked to complete the school work as correctly as she could, while maintaining a good quality with her work.

By age eight, Addie was amazed by the stories that Jacob told about being able to move things at school. It perplexed her what could be causing it. However, it further perplexed her when it happened to her as well when she was nine years old. She had managed to move several books without even touching them. It was rather amazing, and rather freakish, at the same time. But, it helped matters when she noticed that other students were causing the same motions. However, her parents were worried when Jacob first came home with news of moving things, and even more scared when she came home with those stories as well. Instead of taking this information in stride, they told their oldest son and daughter just to forget about what happened. Yet, it still remained on her mind afterwards.

Addie, along with the rest of her family, was surprised when Jacob was accepted at a magical school called Hogwarts when she was ten. While her parents did not think it was a good idea to send Jacob to the magical school, he was still sent anyway. While it should have been less of a surprise when she was finally accepted at age eleven, but it still made her parents suspicious.

At age eleven, Addie started attending Hogwarts as a first year, where she continued to try her hardest at the schoolwork. She found Herbology and Potions to be the easiest classes for her to understand and do the work, while Transfiguration and History of Magic were harder for her to perfect. But, she managed to do well, and was able to make friends at her new school. It was during this time, that she learned about Qudditch and practiced flying with some of her classmates. She continued her interest in drawing that she exhibited at a younger age, by drawing in a sketchpad. However, she does keep this a secret.

Throughout both of her second and third years, Addie continued to study as hard as she could. Despite learning as much as she could about Qudditch, she ultimately decided not to try out for her house's Qudditch team due to a lack of confidence that she would actually be able to get on the team. Close to the end of her third year, she really began looking at fashion discreetly. In addition, she started noticing boys more now at school, but often found herself too shy to actually mention anything. Now in her fourth year, Addie will await what will come in the school year.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Addison fits best in Ravenclaw, because she uses her mind extensively. This is shown through her preference to theory, numbers, the fact that she plays wizard's chess, and her creative aspect of drawing. She has an imagination to keep her mind flowing through topics. While she isn't the most intelligent girl in her year, she prides herself with her quality work.

Writing Sample: Walking into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, Addison couldn't help but feel a little apprehensive. They were getting a new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor! For some reason, she managed to feel a little uneasy whenever a new professor came along. It happened with staff changes, and when she started elective classes. She felt like she had to prove that she belonged there in the class, in addition to maintaining the high quality work that she managed to produce in her other classes. It was a part of the complex idea in her head, that she had to try to learn and understand everything that she could.

However, Defense Against the Dark Arts was really different then the other classes that she did well in. Those classes were mainly theoretical in nature. Sure, she understood the practical classes well enough. But, she always had to try harder to perform the spells in most practical classes. Defense Against the Dark Arts was certainly no exception to this strange phenomena that plagued her. As a fourth year, the professor should not normally expect too much spell-casting, considering her young age. Starting next year, she would really be expected to start showing even more mastery in spell-casting.

Not even a few steps in the classroom, Addie was shocked to see that the new Professor was the History of Magic Professor, Professor Rodrigez. 'This would surely be a joyous experience,' she thought to herself sarcastically. History of Magic was the only theoretical class that she had trouble understanding. Perhaps it was her muggle background? At any rate, she had to really study hard to understand what went on in that class. "Good afternoon Professor," she greeted Professor Rodrigez as she entered the room, attempting to hide her surprise.

After passing by the Professor, Addie took a seat in the second row of desks. She put her bag on the floor next to her desk. Taking her wand out of her pocket, she placed it on her desk as she waited for class to begin. "Hopefully this won't be too extensive of an exercise," she thought to herself.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Addison is a friendly girl that's an extrovert and curious. Her imagination could get the better of her when she talks for a while, and with her artwork. Being a perfectionist, Addie takes her time on her school work and she loves the theoretical side of the lessons. She is a hard worker and energetic.

Character Name: Addison Rockwell
Title Applying For: Wizard Art Appreciation President
Character Biography: Addison's Bio

What Experience has Prepared You For This Honor?:
"I believe that my art experience of painting and drawing certainly qualifies me to be the president for the art club. I have discussed my art, and art in general for that matter, to Asher Grin[1] in the past. I assisted Gloria Gibbon[2] with sculpting snow. Oh, and for an Ancient Runes[3] class, I painted the pictures that I used. After talking to Warren Neifion[4] about forming a art group, I found out about the art club that was run before by Fauna and Eliza, which I hope to continue their great examples."

What Do You Think the Most Important Aspect of This Job Is:?
"The most important aspect of being the art club president, in my opinion, is to bring all artistically inclined students together in a respectful environment. After everyone is together, I believe that the president should collaborate with the rest of the club to complete artwork for any events, murals to recognize events, or to even offer decorating services. From what I understand, this was what the club was doing before. I would love for the club to offer drawing tutorials, or other tutorials for artwork as well!"

Tell a Story From Your Past That Has Proven Your Mettle:
During her attempt to capture the sunrise to the best of her ability, Addison drew way more than the sun rising with the contrast in shading to help denote that the sun was rising. She was able to capture the forest, and managed the slight glimmer of the lake in the distance as well. For the short time frame, she figured that it came out pretty good. Considering the fact that the sun already was starting to pass from its brilliant display of colors in the sky. So, her work was pretty much the best that she could do at that moment.

Even before she came to Hogwarts, Addison wasn't a fan of showing off her artwork. Being too self-conscious, she was worried that the other students would think that her work wasn't good enough. She was afraid that her version of perfection wasn't good enough to muster the scrutiny of her peers. Even with the few other artists at Hogwarts, she still wasn't particularly too comfortable with showing off her work. At the very least, a fellow artist would at the very least appreciate what she was trying to do any way. That was a major plus.

Addison smiled when the boy complimented her work, when she was just putting the finishing touches on her art. "Thank you," she responded. It was always nice to hear that someone liked her work. She couldn't help but giggle, when he mentioned refering to her as 'that-artist-girl.' In all retrospect, there were far worse names that she heard out of other kids mouths, and even 'that-artist-girl' didn't sound particularly too bad. "Nice to meet you Asher, I'm Addison. I've seen you around as well, and I quite honestly wouldn't care if you called me that, as long as I knew that you were referring to me," she responded with a laugh. She probably shouldn't be encouraging the name calling, but it was a rather funny prospect nonetheless.
