What?

A massive prank occurring in the Great Hall will cause for many students as well as staff members to experience a swap of consciousness with one another- i.e. they will switch bodies for an allocated amount of time. If any resident pranksters (Fig, Kiba, etc?) are willing to be responsible for this wonderfully chaotic event, that'll be great! If not, we can assume that George Weasley was feeling nostalgic and has performed a publicity stunt for one of his latest products.

How?

A fleet of owls will descend into a fairly busy Great Hall, releasing harmless but explosive little potions as they swoop across the tables. The contents of these potions will instigate the body swap effect.

Whose bodies you switch with are random (proximity is not a factor) and it is expected that members contact/PM each other to make their own arrangements. When you've decided, PM either Zira or myself and we will update the pairing list on this thread, so that we will all know who has been 'taken'.

When & Where?

After the 2nd of November (full moon) to allow participation of Lycan characters. The Great Hall.

The prank will occur at breakfast time and the effect will be immediate. This swap will last for approximately 12 hours, which means that characters will have regained their original bodies by about 8pm.

So yes! Do follow-up threads after the initial incident!

Queries and ideas can be posted here or PM'd to Zira or myself on this account! Body switching is complicated enough as it is so in terms of technicalities, we want this to be a fun and relatively harmless plot.

I think this sounds absolutely hilarious, and Dessa is certainly up for it. I'm just wondering, would the effects of this be contained to a specific thread, or would we sort of fan out and allow it to infiltrate all our class threads as well?

Dessa would be glad to be Kiba's partner-in-crime. Sure they've never met, but what better way than playing a prank that affects the whole school and causes total chaos?
They're both Gryffindors, so perhaps she stumbled upon him plotting and managed to get herself involved?

Sorry if I didn't make this clear in the original post but yes, the effects can go over into class threads for that day and into personal threads around the school, as long as it's within the time period.

So I take it that Kiba and Dessa will be the pranksters in question (oh Gryffindor...)? I'm sure if anyone else wants to join them, it'll all be good in the spirit of pranking.

Leopold is spoken for but my other two boys are both up for grabs.  Blossom is still of the opinion that girls carry some strange malady that will make boys sick but isn't truly fatal, so dumping him in a girls body would make for an amusing day.  Heinrich will be less amusing, since he's more mature but he's still available.

One thing people will need to do is remember to pass on any traits that go with the body.  Leopold, for example is over eighty.  He comes with a whole host of little creaks and crunches.  And of course there is always Howler the monkey....

ANYWAY, i volunteer Connor up as a viable prankster, too, if Dessa and Fox would like. He's not nearly as unbearable as usual if it's for the greater good.

Also, i think it'd be hilarious if he's behind the prank, and then it backfires on him, too. And I volunteer Gracie *to be swapped with as well! :'D

I thoroughly enjoy the idea of Church being body swapped into that of a girls. I'm sure he'd love it. :3

I am very much up for this idea and would find it quite hilarious~. Relatively new, but Noah is completely up for grabs for being swapped~

I will have to confer with my fellow conspirator, but I don't see a problem with Connor getting involved with the prank. We'd just have to come up with a way for them all to stumble upon each other.
