[May 2nd]The healing properties of tea (open)

~5pm

Nora was sat at one of the tables in the corner of the room, a large mug of tea settled between her hands. A small bruise over her right eye was all she had to show for the events of the previous night, even that was heavily faded due to the actions of a talented young witch who had helped her to safety. Many others had not been so lucky.

Nora had packed her refreshment stall in Hogsmeade up early, business had not been particulary flowing anyway, and made to journey down to St. Mungo's to see a friend of hers, Sylvia Thomas. Sylvia had been sitting a few rows behind her in the stands when the crowd rush began and she had not been quite as fortunate as Nora had been. There had been no brave young wizard to pull her to her feet when she had fallen to the floor and she had several cracked ribs and a broken leg to show for it.

She had seemed so pale and frightened when Nora had seen her on the ward, older somehow. It had shocked Nora to the core, though she had smiled at her friend and told her how much better she looked already. Was she that easily breakable? Her friend was of a similiar age to her, a similar height and weight.

The thought made her feel angry rather than afraid now that the danger had passed. Nora had a certain amount of steeliness in her veins, though perhaps pigheaded stubborness was closer to the mark.  She took a sip of her tea, letting the warmth run through her. No evil little blighter was going to make her feel like that anymore.
