Physical Description:

Lorian stands at 5'4" and weighs 120 lbs. She is thin, but top heavy, giving her a curvacious figure and has very long legs. Lorian has wavy, chocolate brown hair that reaches past her shoulders, lightly tanned skin and blue eyes. She has defined cheek bones and a small, straight nose and is almost always smiling.

She likes to dress comfortably and conservative, but will dress up nicely for special events. Lorian likes to dress in dull, earthy tones and adores wearing baby blue. She doesn't wear heavy makeup, but never goes anywhere without lipstick or lipgloss. Lorian has prescription reading glasses, but she is embarassed to wear them in public.


Personality Description:

Lorian is shy and doesn't usually like to be the centre of attention, avoiding putting the spotlight on herself. Once past her shy nature, she is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She is always genuine and caring and  tends to see the best in everyone.  Her low temperament makes her an easy-going and fun-loving individual.
Lorian loves to sketch, preffering to express her emotions on a page rather than voicing them out loud. Always standing up for what's right, Lorian will voice her own opinions and thoughts if the situation calls for it. Though shy, she can somtimes be impulsive and when around friends, will open up and is very fun to be around.

When she's upset or angry, she will bottle it up and put on a brave face to keep the peace and to keep others happy. She is a studious student and doesn't break the rules or step out of line, unless it's important to her.
Lorian can get so absorbed in her drawing, that she will go into a sort of trance where she blocks out all those around her. She likes to sketch people around her and is a bit of a perfectionist, she could spend hours drawing one part of someones face over and over again to get it right.

As a result of her father walking out on her family as a child, Lorian has commitment issues and will usually avoid relationships. Though, she does think boys are better to have as friends because girls are too gossipy and rude.
Lorian has a mild case of OCD. She will always want would repeat certain actions until it is done right otherwise an overwhelming feeling of something terrible about to happen drives her to obsess over getting it right. This effects her life greatly, always making her spend more time than neccesary on certain tasks such as drawing.

History:

Lorian was born to a muggle family and has two older brothers; Aydin and Thomas, who are both muggles. Thomas (the older) works as a lawyer, while Aydin is studying in university to become an engineer. Her father, Ben, walked out on their family when she was two years old, so she never even knew him. Lorian's mother, Patrice, worked as a single mother to care for her three children, with the help of her sister (Lorian's aunt).

At the age of 11, Lorian's Hogwarts letter came as a huge surprise to the whole family. Lorian's mother didn't accept her daughter as a witch, resulting in her two older brothers to care for her and prepare her for Hogwarts. But as time went by, her mother learned more about the wizarding world and eventually opened up to the idea of magic.
Even though her family had gotten over their fathers sudden departure, there was always a stressful and tense atmosphere, and as a result Lorian developed a mild case of OCD and separation anxiety.

Hogwarts is Lorian's sanctuary. It gives her a break from her disfunctional family and allows her to work on her problems by herself, not displayed for everyone to see.
Lorain has many aquaintences at Hogwarts and only a few close friends that she has deemed trustworthy enough to let into her life. She has only ever had one boyfriend due to her commitment issues, but gets quite a bit of attention from the opposite sex which annoys her. Not that she'd show it.

Spending a lot of her time studying, Lorian's stress relief is her participation in certain clubs, except Dueling, as she is hesitant to harm anyone and doesn't want to 'perform' in front of others.
Lorian's favourite subject is divination. She loves everything about it and is most keen to know what is in stall for the future. Another subject she loves is astronomy, as gazing up into the skies and reading star maps calm her and inspire art work.
