Physical Description: A lean kid, standing at around 5' 6" and 140 lbs, he's not remarkable in terms of build. His hair, a shaggy, feathered mess of black frames his angular face. His face is relatively clear, outside of patches of freckles on his cheeks and nose. His eyes are a dull blue.

His build is far from muscular, made up completely of soft features which are normally hidden under baggy clothes, whenever he's in casual clothes, that is. His skin is a rather dull tan, deepening in color a bit past the elbows and above the neck: areas that would regularly be exposed from clothing.

Personality Description: Noah is a bit more on the quiet side, not having much in ways of people skills. As such, he can be rather awkward or shy at times, though not to a crippling point.

He has a deep curiosity in his magic studies, having been eager to start for awhile, especially with his curiosity up to this point having not been fed much due to his father's rather busy lifestyle. He is eager to learn and make new friends while finally becoming an accomplished wizard.

As many children around his age due, he has a bit of a complex about his identity, having yet to really find out all of his own interests and abilities, and therefore can be a bit overly drawn to things that he acquires an interest in. Furthermore, this can cause him to be a bit of a sheep to his friends or classmates, not yet sure enough in his own opinions and wanting to get along well with others.

He has a constant fear of letting others down or his actions contributing to hardships in another's life, wanting to be positive to his fellows as much as possible.

History: In his early years, Noah led a rather normal life, if not a bit of a lonely one. His mother worked as an Auror for the Ministry of Magic and his father at a Magical Hospital, so they were off at work a great deal of the time. Furthermore, Noah being an only child, the only company he was used to was that of his tutors and nannies who looked after him while his parents were at work. A lonely lifestyle, but far from a bad one.

However at the age of seven his mother died, caught up in a rather violent incident while dealing with a group of burglars. A traumatic experience for Noah, and one that led to further loneliness, his father working harder to upkeep the family finances as well as finding some distraction from the now much emptier house in his work.

Noah never resented his father for this; he came to understand that this was just the type of person his father was, however he still was very lonely. The people he knew that lived close by were few and fleeting, so he often occupied his time by himself, be it through reading, taking walks, or other such activities.

He had been taught the basics of magic by way of tutors, however was far from able to appease his thirst for knowledge. His tutors would always just assure him that he would be able to continue when he moved on to proper school after coming of age. Finally, that day came.

Noah has recently started his life at Hogwarts, being sorted into the Ravenclaw House and having thus far spent a majority of his time exploring the new school, indulging in his curiosity, and adjusting to life alone. As a result, he has yet to make many friends within the house, however has made up his mind that he was going to use this new opportunity as best as he could.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: He has a deep desire to learn and a yet awoken passion for academia. He does not have a strong enough voice to be a leader amongst people, though has a strong mind that can be a great asset to him once it, along with his character, develop alongside like minded people.

Writing Sample: Noah looked down at the letter with a smile on his face, trying to contain the excitement he was feeling. It had finally come, a letter from Hogwarts inviting him in. While on the outside all he could hear was the subtle ticking of the clock in his room, inside he was ablaze with fantasies of the wizarding school and all that he would be able to finally learn.

He looked to the door with eager anticipation, listening for a moment to try and hear for signs of his father. Nothing yet, but soon enough he would be able to share this excitement with someone. For the moment, he simply grabbed his calendar and started to plan for when the best day on traveling to get the supplies might be, as undoubtedly he would be going alone.

He doesn't well know what his passions are and feels a bit envious of those who are fully driven to a single area already in life or excel in something in particular.
