Full Character Name: Alexia Miranda Wilson
Character Birthday & Age: December 5th, 1992
City & Country of Birth: London
Pureblood, Halfblood or Muggleborn: Halfblood
House & Year: Ravenclaw, 6th year
Wand: A 10 inch
Berch wand with a Ashwinder Ash core; smooth and supple. Bought on a trip to Spain, hence the core. The old man who made it was a minimalist, hence the simple design; Alexia loves it's simplicity though.
Physical Description: Alexia is a skinny, pale girl of about 1.80 metres tall with warm brown, wavy hair that just reaches her shoulders, soft as satin.
She wears her uniform exactly how it is supposed to be worn but she does go against the code a bit by wearing bright lipstick or lots of lipgloss, individualizing her.
If she wasn't so rude and keen to be alone she probably would be the item of many's fantasies. with the physique of a model and a face to match she is not a bad looker...
Personality Description: Alexia's personality is a complex thing, full of opposites. Where she's rude, she's secretly sweet; where she's an einzelganger, she craves human contact; where she appears to have no heart, she has a golden one.
You could see such double personality traits as interesting or even amusing, but so far nobody has reached the point that they can say they truly know Alexia, they only know the loud, rude, know-it-all shell; the exterior.
To outsiders she's an annoying brat with no social skills and no interest in anything but studying; a prude, boring workaholic who only thinks of herself and happens to have a pretty face, that's it.
Truth is: at night, when she's reading another book in her bed with the curtains closed, no one could feel lonelier than her.
History: Alexia was born from a witch mother and a muggle father whom shared a happy marriage...well...on the outside, that is.
When Alexia was six she caught her father cheating with a man. Immediately she told her mother and she and her (apparently gay) husband parted ways rather smoothly.
From that day forth Alexia was raised by her mother, who taught her that to succeed in life, one must stand to their beliefs and aim high. This Alexia does and she is determined to achieve that high goal (a well kept secret) even if it involves her being impolite and rude.
Her mother never wanted her daughter to become so secluded and whenever she sees Alexia reading a book on her own tears have to be held back; but every time Alexia catches her mother lookin heartbroken she assures her by saying her goals are pure and filled with life, easing mother's thoughts.
Before you know it Alexia is at Hogwarts and her mother is waving her goodbye. At Hogwarts she had no more mom to set boundaries on her readig and studying so setting her free caused Alexia to simply do nothing except reading and studying, avoiding other people and only eating and sleeping when extremely neccessary. Life in Hogwarts is incredibly dull to her as it gives her no way to truly exploy her intellect; but she supposes it's ok, she'll wait for opportunity to pass by.
Alexia and her mom don't speak that often anymore and every winter she stays at school to continue studying she breaks her mother's heart a little more, as well as her own...

Writing Sample: A RP post I made on a different site, hope you don't mind me using this:
“Get in the front car,” that was the first thing Lauraline heard from her new mistress in a few minutes and she immediately stepped into the front car behind the other girls, next to a window. Something in the back of her head told her that it was going to be a long drive and near a window she at least had something to look at. As the car drove on a highway the other three girls started chatting with each other, about how exiting this whole thing was and how curious they were as to what they’d be ordered to do at the house. Eventually they got to the subject boys (‘I wonder if there’ll be handsome male servants’ gigglegiggle) and Lauraline shut her ears; she had no interest in boys whatsoever…she honestly didn’t know why, but she was ok with it, some people are a-sexual (that’s what the ‘doctor’ at the Hospital told her she was) right? But something in her mind told her she wasn’t unable to love…oh well, let’s not thing too much of it she thought often.
When the car slowed down, arriving at their destination, Lauraline noticed she’d dozed off. When the car had completely halted and the three other girls had stepped out of the car, Lauraline got out at last, welcomed by the warm sun on her face. When her blinded sight returned after a moment Lauraline noticed the huge mansion in front of her. Elegant arches adorned the house and the entire thing just had something classy about it; and this would be her new home…Withholding a smile Lauraline stood back in line next to the other new servants and waited for the lady in heels to speak as she drunk in the sight of the beautiful woman in the warm sunlight.
"I will show you the east wing where you'll sleep, and a list of the tasks you will do. You'll follow my orders without question, and don't even think about breaking any of the house rules, which Tess will explain to you later. Is that understood?" the lady in heels spoke stern and to the point.
As the other three girls said ‘Yes my lady,’ Lauraline said something different from the rest, for some reason she liked the way she said it better than the way that was taught her; the official way sounded so…platonic…therefor she spoke differently.
“Completely, madam.” her originally soft, but now forced louder, voice said.
Sum up your character in one paragraph: She's smart and careful. On the outside Alexia uses a shell of Rudeness and toughness, but once you get to know her and she peeps out from underneath her shield of impoliteness you'll see that deep inside shimmers a caring heart that will never let someone in need down.
