Hey all! I'm going to post either a try-outs or first practice thread very soon, but I thought it'd be more practical (not to mention much faster) to establish the Slytherin Quidditch positions here, OOC.

Below is the list of characters and the spots they signed up for at the club day booth. Lemme know if you're still interested in having your character play the spot! If I don't hear from you here, I will assume you are no longer interested and will remove your character from the team.

For positions with more than the needed number of players, we can switch out for each game. And if you didn't get a chance to write your charrie into the club day booth thread, speak up! I'm pretty flexible about the roster. I'd like, ideally, for everyone to get a chance to play.

Chasers: Waverly Roh-Ballentyne, Casey O'Doherty, Demitria Strelnikov, Kitty Li
Beaters: Gracie Slant, Naomi Foley
Seeker: Erin Harper
Keeper: Xavier Tawse

Questions? Concerns? PM this account or Landis Morgan's (I check the latter more often). There will definitely be a practice thread before the Slytherin/Hufflepuff game. I'm still trying to decide if it's worth having a try-outs one, or if it's too late/too moot. Any opinions on that from my intrepid fellow writers?

And please, if anyone wants a thread with Erin outside of the practices, lemme know! He's very anxious excited about being Captain and is open for pestering, communing, extra practice, lessons for the younger flyers, etc.

Xavier's still ready and rearing to play.

I think once everything gets hashed out here it would make sense to do a practice thread over a try outs one, though I'd happily post in either. If there's no interest in the keeper position I can easily have Xavier play as Keeper for the upcoming match, leaving beating to the lovely ladies.

Depending on everyone's availability for the Hufflepuff and Slytherin game...Casey can be the rotated off for that one if need be, I'll also be posting on the Hufflepuff side, so no major loss to me when posting. Wait and see.

Otherwise looking forward for the next Quidditch related thread, will def. post in a tryout/practice.

I'm just going to add to the you can point Naomi wherever kind of thing, since she's one of the youngest (and new people)  I think it makes since. She would probably be a clumsy Keeper but it might be fun to play her as one lol. Am all for a tryout thread to roleplay stuff out and figure out positions though, sounds like fun and a good idea (:

Did I miss a previous sign-up thread or has Kitty been booted off the team for being so vile  I'd be more than happy to get involved in any upcoming matches though!

Zayzie and Amberlee: Amberlee, if you and Xav really don't mind, let's have him try his hand at Keeper. Erin would want the more experienced player to defend the goals, and he already knows (I'm sure) that Naomi's got a mean right hook.

Malia: I'll add ya to the list! I made the one above based on the people who responded to this thread, not out of any desire to alienate our most vicious and effective teammate.

Right now I'm aiming to get a practice thread up sometime this weekend.

Ah good, I figured I'd probably missed a previous thread but would love to have her back on the team!

Okay =) I'm excited for the practice thread and especially for getting Kitty and Strellie back together to wreak havoc.
