Physical Description: Bristol stands at an impressive 6'4, possessing a cruel, lean body that does not harbour a grand finesse of muscle, but rather boasts a collection of well-formed, slender limbs. His shoulders are exceptionally broad for such a willowy fellow, and his skin is riddled with Quidditch scars, scratches and grazes. Not an inch of skin remains soft, and hands are about as rough as a hitwizard.
Facially, Bristol is rather handsome, but such looks have taken years of growing-up and shedding baby fat. His features are incredibly sharp (to the level of pointed) and a chiseled jawline with squinted eyes often give the look of anger, no matter what emotion Bristol may be experiencing.
Hair and eyes are both dark brown, with follicles bordering on black. Usually immaculate, the side-parting and quiff has become a synonymous feature with Bristol Collins and a hair only ever falls out of place on the Quidditch pitch.
As far as personal clothing goes, the sportsman has a penchant for suits and tailoring; navy blazers, grey trousers, crisp white shirts, bow ties, brown polished brogues - the essential uniform for the English dandy. When not gallivanting around in threads that could rival Saville Row, simple jeans and t-shirts suffice for the pub or around the home - practicality rarely overtakes style for Bristol, and he knows that looking ultra-dapper isn't always -ultra-appropriate.

Personality Description: Bristol, in a word, is arrogant. No competition is too great, no duel too fearsome, no task too difficult - he can do everything (in his own very humble opinion). Growing up with a 'can-do' attitude has resulted in Bristol taking anything by the horns and expecting to breeze through, which often sees a very angry man when things don't go quite as well as initially planned.
Behind this facade of extreme bravado, Bristol is certainly 'one of the boys'. There's nothing better than sitting around a table with far too many pints talking booze, broads and broomsticks, and Bristol's reputation has grown into quite the drinker. Hedonism, after all, is a luxury, and Bristol rarely passes on any avenue promising a good time. This includes everything - including women. An absolute charmer and obsessed with the fairer of the sexes, alongside his prestige as a professional partier, he's also known as a professional womanizer. Much to his own chagrin, many cleverer ladies in his past have often stayed clear.
The Bristol splashed on the front cover of the Daily Prophet however, is a lot different to the Bristol his closest have grown to love. Witty, caring and protective of those around him, these traits only came with the birth of his daughter. Whilst still considered a little crazy on the dancefloor, Bristol has mellowed considerably and has provided much good advice for mates in a time of need - even if a little back-handed compliment came with it for good measure.
Insecurities ultimately fuel the need to impress. Bristol was never the best Quidditch player, just a strong contender, and he constantly fought for the reputation at Hogwarts - usually second best to the smarter, more agile boys. Being a younger brother to a star Hufflepuff didn't make things easier, and so Bristol constantly feels the need to excel.
Whilst offending some with masculine swagger and bravado, Bristol manages to retain a close few; a rogue, a cheeky chap and a lifestyle that could rival the biggest Wrockstar going.
History: Howard Collins, a British wizarding cauldron maker, and his wife, Susanna Abernathy-Collins, an American muggleborn, became proud parents to a second child on the evening of the 15th of July, 1983. Named Bristol (after the city he was conceived in - a tale he was never told), the young boy came into the world as a smiling child full of enthusiasm and a mischievous streak to rival a doxy.
Growing up, he was exceptionally close to his sister Priss, older by four years, and was often cared for by the maternal, bashful elder child. The two both showed magical talents: Priss levitating a domino on the end of her nose, and Bristol no longer having to tie his shoelaces: they did so by themselves on winter morning.
Priss was the first to be invited to Hogwarts, and although the butt of many a joke and tiff, Bristol missed his sister dearly. Accepted as a Hufflepuff, she became popular, pretty and awfully hard-working, acing almost every exam and practical put in front of her. It was a difficult act to follow. Soon enough, Bristol found himself on the train to Hogwarts and the Sorting Hat had a tough time between Gryffindor and Slytherin: the lion for the brash bravery, and Slytherin for the over-confidence. He finally fell under the banner of the serpent, and whilst not overtly Slytherin (he was neither nasty nor scheming), he found many a friend in the silver and green house.
Unlike Priss, exams were not his forté. He was a mediocre student, and although they were exceptionally proud regardless, Bristol felt he'd let his goodly (albeit slightly wacky) parents down. He soon threw himself into Quidditch, being able to catch a quaffle with deft, experienced hands and ride a broom fairly well. There were better players, of course, but few mirrored Bristol's pure determination. Soon enough, he was on the Quidditch team, and rivalled dear Priss in popularity. His grades, however, remained mediocre for the rest of his career.
Forging a group of mates from all four houses, Bristol was never the leader, but a firm prankster in their midst. Girls came and went (he was terrified of a committed girlfriend), but his days at Hogwarts were relatively fun-filled.
Graduation came and went, Priss already an intern at the Ministry with a long-term boyfriend (boring, boring Fred) and a promised career paved with gold. Bristol dreamed of being a Quidditch star but every trial was focused on the star players, and although good, he was never initially selected. Training religiously and attending every opening he could, Bristol eventually made it onto the under 21s youth reserve team for the Wasps; not a glowing start, but a foot in the industry nonetheless.
To cut a long story short, through mostly luck, a dash of smooth-talking and a pint of Quidditch skill, he was offered to be in America. Guaranteed paycheck, guaranteed stardom - and guaranteed women. Soon enough, Bristol was living in Washington and loving his transatlantic life, becoming known for a foolhardy grip, brash moves on the field and a reliable goal scorer.
After a couple of years of partying, Bristol met Anna Ziesing, daughter of the US Quidditch League chairman at a charity gala: he fell head over heels. At first, she shunned his crass boozing and garish jokes, but became accustomed to them after Bristol consistently pursued the blonde beauty.
A relationship began, and although consistently rude and negative, Bristol couldn't help but love Anna. A few years in, she fell pregnant, and their now marriage was diminishing. Bristol was heartbroken when Anna left him with their unborn child, and being so young, he turned to his former lifestyle of women and wizarding whiskey.
With his break-up making front page news, Bristol was over-the-moon when their daughter, Poppy, arrived. Anna allowed her former partner to regularly see their daughter, and Bristol calmed down considerably.
Although recently taking a position with the Tornadoes, Anna and Bristol managed to formulate a plan for their young daughter - even if Poppy's mother attempted to take every penny possible from Bristol.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Cocky, arrogant but essentially a good person, Bristol is infamous for his partying antics but always puts his daughter Poppy first. Often the object of tabloid scandal, Bristol is a mate, a Quidditch player, a mentor, a celebrity, and a father.
