Thursday night after dinner.
Cassie was still full from dinner, granted it had not been that long ago. At least it was much more uneventful than Tuesday, Cassie was still in shock it had happened at all and more importantly she had been so actively involved. Okay, well tackling Seto, her ex to the ground after he had punched Zel was not really being involved. Though she supposed kicking Huxley in the family jewels was probably getting her a little more involved. Oh no, Cassie was not a fighter she was a lover? No, maybe that was the wrong word, she was a crier. Violence was never the answer, but seeing Zel's tears had struck a nerve in her. It was enough to bring out a moment of chaotic rage. Okay, maybe she had not raged and didn't appear chaotic to anyone but herself. Cassie hated disorder and chaos and the whole fight had, had her in distress of some sort.
Cassie desired to put the whole unseemly disorganized fight behind her, it really wasn't her style. Though Zel needed support (wasn't that supposed to be what SAWS was about?) and then of course there was cousin solidarity. But they had all had a day to cool down, or so Cassie had hoped. She had already apologized for the miss directed kick towards the precious parts. So, she figured she was on the road to forgetting about it until school things game into play. SAWS was bound to be under scrutiny, which wasn't good. Cassie though was just continuing about her daily routine and right now was deciding to head to the library to sign out a book she needed for class, further reading.
Stepping out the entrance of the Hufflepuff common room she started to pull her hair back into a ponytail. The mop of big curls just needed to be contained for now. She was too busy flipping the elastic around her hair to notice where she was going. Not that she wasn't really looking where she was going, more she wasn't paying attention. Had she noticed she might have heard the sound of other footsteps. Had she noticed she might not have wandered into someone, elbows out as she was trying to tie back her hair. At this rate she was going to be labelled a bully. Wait was she at fault here? Cassie wasn't even sure. Immediately and instinctively she spewed out, "I'm sorry!" It didn't matter whether she was at fault or not, she still felt horrid. Then she saw who it was and felt even worse. "I swear I'm not trying to be you up!" Cassie dropped her hands to cover her face in a moment of embarrassment.
