Like sister like roommate. on April 03, 2012, 09:52:35 AM After the squabble last night with Alice. Annette pulled all of her things out of her very large trunk, took a book, her wand, and a pillow, and hid inside, closing the door firmly. She punched a hole in the side so she could breath. It didn't hurt much, she just was so angry nothing hurt. All she could feel was what she had said to Alice the night before. She felt terrible. Her mouth had gotten more foul as the night bore on. I also didn't think you were one accusations without investigating your problem through enough. Cause I certainly did not take your prissy notebook. Why don't you go cry to Lexi? .....You need me more than I need you!? YOU are the only reason Lexi's a werewolf! YOU were afraid of her! I was there when she needed someone! I was there not YOU! You were hiding in a corner, cowering from your so called 'best friend' ... Believe me, you would last 5 minutes without my help! I was there to save your whiny ass when fell off that bloody broom. You are pathetic...You had the god-damn notebook the ENTIRE TIME! and you have the bloody balls to accuse me!? Then she had proceeded to insult her friend with compliments. They were all true: every. single. one. She compared Alice to herself. She was nothing compared to Alice. So she hid in her trunk, reading with her wand's light. She hated herself for being mean. She hated herself for being alive, she just hated that she had to hide in a trunk to escape her problems. She was the pathetic one. Sniffling until about midnight. She finally pulled herself from the trunk and looked over to Alice's bed. Nette didn't know what to do. She crawled back into the trunk waiting 'til morning came.Eventualy it did and Alice was sleeping silently in her bed. Annette had tossd and turned in her sleep and her trunk fell over. She woke up. staring at the closed door, her head jammed uncomfortaly into her shoulder.Anni rolled (literally) out of the box and onto the cold floor. In her socks she shuffled to the other fourposter and whispered in Alice's ear. "I'm sorry"She sat on the floor and waited. Skip to next post Re: Like sister like roommate. Reply #1 on April 08, 2012, 10:13:39 PM Alice had blown off her steam. Yeah, she was angry at Annette, but it took her a while to figure out why. It had started over her notebook. But when Alice found out Annette hadn't taken it, she couldn't just make a quick apology like nothing had happened. There was yelling, there was fighting. There were rips showing through the sweater of their friendship. After a few hours of complaining to Lexi and then walking several laps around the lake, Alice decided it was time she apologized to Annette. She had been mean. She said hurtful things. She didn't even feel half the things she said, purely saying them because they made her feel better to see Annette hurt.It was then that Alice came to the realization of just how mean she was. I'm not that way, she thought. That's not who I am! I'm Alice! Alice Hunter! The girl who takes notes for other kids when they break their arms and *say* they can't write! It was decided. Apologies were in order. Alice descended down the stairs into the Hufflepuff Cellar where she walked into the common room. She paused outside of their door, taking a deep breath. If she's still angry, that's normal. You were mean, notice that. And explain Alice. Explain why you're sorry. She closed her eyes, before exhaling, and twisting the doorknob.Annette was no where to be seen. Riiight. You weren't the only one mad, Alice. You weren't the only one hurt. She probably couldn't stand to see you. You sicken her. She feels nauseous even looking at you. Alice placed a hand on her forehead. Calm down Alice. You haven't slept. Never apologize tiredly. It never goes well. She wandered over to her bed, changing into her pajamas, not bothering to brush her teeth. They'll be fine over night. Just fall asleep.Alice soon drifted off, happy that such a terrible day was over.Alice awoke as someone whispered in her ear, "I'm sorry,". She threw her hand with power at the stranger. You have to fight back. You'll make noise, people will hear you, and come help. She grabbed her wand out of her backpack, forgetting her glasses. She aimed a shaky hand at the stranger."I don't know who you are, I don't know what you want, but I'll let you know, I don't have it. And if you come near me, I'll- I'll scream, and I'll hurt you with this! Yeah! I'll uh, use a spell, or at the very least, I'll jab you in the tummy! Yes! Hard as well! Right in the tummy!" She yelled. Skip to next post Re: Like sister like roommate. Reply #2 on April 17, 2012, 09:20:04 PM Alice's fist came fast, but Annette was faster. Alice's blind thrashing brought a wand pointing at Annette's left eyebrow. Nette stuck her hands out and laughed, taking the wand from Alice's hand and replacing it with the girl's own glasses. She laughed, "Alice, whoa, hey sweetheart! Relax, I don't want anything from you." Normally, Alice's thrashing and childish thoughts would have deeply peeved Annette to the point of a migrane, but this tall hufflepuff was in a forgiving mood. She felt horrible for yelling and insulting her friend. Her best friend. Alice was Annette's best friend, even if Alice didn't know that. Her voice became sweet and mother-like, "Alice, I'm sorry. Put your glasses on please so we can sort this out." And without you I have no idea where I may be."She smiled sheepishly. "I totally overreacted. And I really hope you understand that. I am just kinda missing home. You know? It's like, I missing a part of me." Tears began to flood her vision, but she blinked them away. "Fighting with you was just a coping mechanism for me."She looked up once more. "I'm sorry.
