Wand: Vine, 12 1/2 inches, Unicorn Hair. The wand is rigid and has a shaft decorated with thorn briars. It was one of Ollivander's more rare wands that he made which started shooting silver and purple stars the day she walked in to his shop.

Physical Description: If people were to look carefully at the Dark twins and Angerona, they would see a striking resemblance between the three. The difference is that Angerona is has a purer essence, a softer rounder face, and the most prominent feature of all is her mother's hair. It's long, black like her mother's, and it flares when she's furious. Otherwise, it's wild and cannot be tamed except by excessive amounts of gel. Although it is not necessarily poofy or frizzy, her hair is a mess of scraggly ringlets that fall around her shoulders.

Her face tends to be avoided by her hair, thankfully, so that the people around her get a good look at her. She is very expressive with her face. Full lips can screw up into the most exaggerated of expressions, her nose can wiggle like a bunny's or scrunch up in disgust, and her thin eyebrows are controlled individually to make silly arches, furrows, and other such things. Angerona's eyes are a natural soft yet capturing shade of green. Occasionally, when enraged, a ring of fiery-orange appears in the center of the iris just around the pupil. It is hard to miss when Angerona is angry with such eyes.

With skin the color of vanilla-cream covering her soft body, it's no surprise that she gets a tad sunburned when the sun beats harshly down upon the earth. She is of average size with long legs, knobbly knees, and a short torso. Her arms aren't very long nor are they muscled, but her hands are the most expressive part of her besides her face. Angerona looks quite puny and her chest has only recently started to develope. The fact that she is always tromping around in her cousins' shadows doesn't help.

In order to try to capture attention from her cousins (and yet be like them), Angerona has acquired the same taste in clothes as her cousins. This relative, though, is a lot more liberal with her clothing. Muggle or not, she has filled her wardrobe with "classy" and "unique" articles along with hundreds of accessories and jewelry. Many at the school will find her dress gothic, but Angerona only hopes to express what she considers to be "dark beauty" to the school.

Personality Description: On the outside, Angerona is quite pure and naive. She is, more or less, charismatic with her cute face, sweet smile, and her adorable spoonerisms and malapropisms worked into her speech. She is very playful and at the same time, she tends to be daft. Sometimes, she speaks in riddles or no sense at all (as is normal for a member of the Dark bloodline). This girl has no problem giving off the impression that she is an innocent "angel among the briar thorns", easily mislead, gullible, and weak-minded since she follows her Dark cousins around like a puppy dog. This is a rouse.

Manipulative is the real word a person should use to describe Angerona. She has been this way since the age of six and has wrapped her mother tight around her little finger. She doesn't want everything like some spoiled brat, but she does want her path to be open if she decides she wants something. Manipulation and cleverness are a person's best weapons, in her opinion, and she uses them to the fullest. That sweet face and charismatic personality are the upper layer that is used to make friends and create a social circle around her. People want to protect her? That's fine. She'll let them risk their lives for her. After all, she didn't make them do it. They did it on their own. This is the way she manipulates people. Angerona has no friend that is not in some way or another expendable.

Does she go around showing that she's a two-faced, horrible girl? Of course not. Angerona is crafty and clever. She can turn situations around on people so that they look like the guilty party. This student is a talented actress that never allows herself to look bad or openly distraught. With a great deal of practice, Angerona has learned how to bring tears and show emotions that she has often questioned if she really possesses (usually, her answer is "no"). Sometimes, the friendships are real. She enjoys having friends around. But there is no one that is not expendable; that is her first rule. Everyone serves a purpose and, if she plays her cards right, it's her purpose. They are useful to her in some way or another yet can be dropped at a moment's notice. She has pulled such a twist on few people, but has always come out looking like the hero or victim so that there are no fingers pointed at her back. Her manipulation and charisma are tools that she uses wisely and sparingly.

If she feels that she is in some way endangered, she will switch sides. Work for the bad guys or the bully, allowing them to think it's their idea rather than hers by "showing" that she can be useful, then at the last minute pledge her allegiance to the other side. Angerona is always out to save her own skin and feigns her innocence by disappearing, fainting, or playing the maiden that is over-whelmed by emotions or the victim.

Her humor is rather dark and she has many morbid fascinations, the main one being what she calls dark or tragic romance. She is a romantic to the fullest, but not in the usual sense. She often jokes that her Prince Charming got eaten by a werewolf. She is the kind of girl that will get excited over someone's new terrible scar or, as her classmates think, is the most likely to fall in love with a vampire, werewolf, or someone who's dying. Stockholm syndrome could be her weakness (but she's never actually been kidnapped). On occasion, this fascination leads her to be a tad melancholy where her eyes gloss over and she is caught in the middle of a day-dream. She is always fantasizing about what it would be like to date a werewolf or fall in love with a vampire, things that she yearns to achieve sometime in her life.

History: Angerona was born as the second child and only daughter to Iris Dark. Her mother got pregnant with her at the age of 20 and had Angerona at the age of 21. Iris, who was very close to her brother Michael and almost obsessively fond of her nieces Beatrix & Bellatrix, named her child Angerona Leatrix. Her husband, Jess Savage, did not much care for the name Angerona, but it grew on him over time. The family moved from a one-bedroom apartment in Gravesend to a house that Jess's muggle aunt Harriet owned and would rent out to them. Angerona grew up in the house and was watched as a toddler by her mother while her father went off to a muggle job.

In the summer of 2000, Jess came home utterly depressed and furious. The job had fired him for no apparent reason. Bills were due and his check could barely cover them. Iris fled to her brother to ask for help and he did so the only way he knew how: by giving her connections to the family. The Weidmans, for example, helped Iris to get into the corrupt ring. From there, Iris made her way with her own talents and became a Black Market Entrepreneur. This brought money home that they used for bills and, two years later, Jess's drinking.

Jess was under a lot of pressure keeping his wizarding family a secret, particularly from his over-bearing mother. It also wasn't easy for him to listen to all of the jabs his family made about him sitting at home "like some house-wife" while his wife was out working. At one family reunion when Angerona was 5 and her older brother was 7, Iris had to go due to an emergency meeting with a customer. Jess had to endure the reunion on his own with his two kids. He drank and he drank, the family kept on berating him. Finally, he told them all to piss off and went wild. Angerona was upset and started crying. Her brother's own temper came out and set the table on fire. Several members of the Savage family were sent to the hospital with 3rd degree burns. When they got home that evening, Jess locked the kids up in his son's room and waited until Iris got home.

Iris and Jess had a big fight that night. He told her he was leaving, he didn't want to keep the secret anymore, and he definitely didn't want to be afraid of his own children. Iris persuaded him to stay for another half a year. Tension rose between Iris and Jess: he wasn't content, he didn't want to stay. She was paranoid about him leaving. During this dark period of time, Iris went a little mental. Angerona cried nearly every night and Iris had to calm her down by using her talents as a Necromancer. The dead bodies, somehow, fascinated Angerona and calmed her down enough to let her sleep. Eventually, Iris started taking her daughter to work with her. Perhaps this was where the seeds of her manipulative personality first began: when she met some of the people that her mother worked with. Children observe and learn from these observations.

Jess finally did leave. Iris went mad for a while. Michael had to visit her often and this was how Angerona became so affectionate towards her cousins Beatrix, Bellatrix, and Erin. The twins were a lot more interesting to Angerona than Erin was, probably because she longed for a sister relationship like what they had. Because Iris was terrible as a house-wife (cooking, cleaning, etc.), she had to purchase a House Elf named Squiggy. While she was away at work, Squiggy would take care of the kids. As Angerona grew up, she became fascinated with werewolves, vampires, and the dead. She met a lot of these sorts of people when her mother would occasionally take Angerona to work with her. The year that her older brother attended Hogwarts, Jess came back to Gravesend. He met up with Iris and they went on a few dates. They talked, they made out, and eventually they got back together. Angerona acted differently towards Jess no matter how many times he tried to tell her he wouldn't leave again. She just didn't trust him and she had already adjusted to a life without him. Two years later, she also attended Hogwarts.

Angerona was a Hatstall for the Sorting Hat, taking up over 7 minutes for him to decide. He had easily cast aside Hufflepuff for Angerona was clearly not loyal or fair. Gryffindor would be no good since she was neither chivalrous nor bold. It was a tie between Slytherin and Ravenclaw. She was clever, oh yes very clever...but manipulative and cared only of herself. So, why didn't the hat put her in Slytherin where she ought to have been? It was very simple: Angerona requested that she be put into Ravenclaw. Nobody knows why and the Sorting Hat was having so much difficulty that if he'd had a brain, he would have got a headache trying to figure out which house was best for her. Needless to say, the hat didn't ask questions; he just screamed "RAVENCLAW!" to get her Sorted and done with.

It was a fairly normal life at Hogwarts for the girl. She made loads of friends during her first and second years, though a few of them turned out to be "back-stabbers" and "bullies" (at least, that was the impression that everyone else got from Angerona's side of the story which was much more convincing than theirs). Since her first year, Angerona tagged along behind the Dark twins and tried to be one of them. It became clear to her during her third year, however, that such a thing was impossible: she was not the missing twin, despite how much she wished she was. So, the Ravenclaw tried to go her own way while still following in the shadows of her older first cousins. Erin tried on occasion to be Angerona's best friend, but because the twins shunned her (and after the tale of their mother preferring Erin to them), the Ravenclaw also told her "other cousin" that she wanted nothing to do with her.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: In all honesty, Angerona doesn't belong in Ravenclaw at all. She has a large amount of individuality and the girl is exceedingly clever. However, she is a true Slytherin without a doubt. Manipulative, cunning, and willing to risk the life of others above her own, there is no question that Angerona Savage should have been placed in the Slytherin House. The only reason she didn't is because she specifically requested (possibly argued or manipulated) the Sorting Hat to place her in Ravenclaw. Nobody yet knows why.

    Writing Sample: N/A

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Angerona Savage is by far one of the more mental Darks. No one knows what her temper is like because she has not lost her temper at Hogwarts yet. She allows people to believe that she is pure, naive, gullible, and weak-minded or easily mislead. This side of her is playful and daft to the point of speaking in riddles and saying nonsensical things, which is often hard since her speech is full of spoonerisms and malapropisms. The true Angerona, however, is very manipulative. She uses her charisma and false naivety to lead people into believing that she cares. She's there for them when they cry, stands up for them when they're being bullied...but never once will anyone see her stick her neck out for a friend. Crafty enough to come up with convincing reasons, none have yet to catch on to Angerona's true intentions of saving her own skin. Her morbid fascination lies in the tragic romances, outlined with dark humor.
