The wand is a family heirloom that belonged to my great great great grandfather,  who made it himself after his was broken in battle during the first war with Voldemort.  He borrowed his friend's wand in order to go get a scale from a live chimera, and he got the wood from an anonymous source.

Personality Description:
He is a smart young man of moderate intelligence,  who is brave,  and will never give up on anything.  He tends to talk too much sometimes,  and he is not the kind of person you want to get angry because he a very dangerous temper.  He hates it when people act like they are a know-it-all,  it drives him crazy.  He is calm in dire situations,  he is resourceful,  and he sometimes gets easily annoyed.  He gets worried when he can figure things out that seem simple.

History: He is the only child of Jonathan and Lanora Brown,  who are professional healers.  He has been enrolled in Hogwarts since before he was born.  He is not sure what he wants to do with his life.  All he knows is he was to get the best magic training in the world.  He sometimes helps his parents in their healing business by getting his parents things they need. 

He probably wouldn't remember much about this because it was usually pretty boring.  He will remember this one time for the rest of his life.  When he was ten years old,  an urgent patient came in that was in a very strong fire,  and he was severely burn on must of his body.  He was always crying out in horrible pain.  His parents tried everything they could,  but it wasn't enough.  He suffered for three hours,  but he eventually died from his burns and from the trauma of the situation.  He wouldn't go to his parents' healers clinic for three months because of that.  Even when he started going there again,  he still was a little nervous and scared.  Eventually,  he couldn't deal with the stress anymore,  so he stopped going to the clinic altogether.  To this day he hasn't go over it.  Every time sometime mentions a fire incident he has flashbacks of that awful moment. 

He was so excited the day he got his letter that he ran around the house and the yard with a stick pretending that he was casting spells all afternoon.  His parents were so proud that he was going to Hogwarts that when they went to Diagon Alley to get his supplies,  they got him one idem of his chose that he wanted put didn't need.  His mother,  who was a muggle and found out that her husband was a wizard when she walked in on him while he was casting a spell,  was a little apprehensive about all this,  but she was dealing with it okay.  On the day he left on the Hogwarts Express,  he looked out the window of the train as it was pulling out of the station and saw tears in his parents' eyes as they waved good-bye.  As they faded pasted the horizon,  he himself couldn't help feel a little sad to be away from his parents for a whole year.  He would miss them very much.  Hang in there Leon.

"The Divination Professor has told me that you are very gifted in divination",  said the Headmaster.

 "That's what she tells me",  replied Leon,  "but I don't see why she is making a big fuss over this." 

"She thinks that you should take more advanced private classes with her in the evening.  What do you think about that?"

 "That sounds great!  When can I start?"

 "You start tomorrow night at 5 pm."

 "I'll be there professor."  He started  his private classes and he learned very fast.  He amazed his professor and excelled further in divination than any other student.
