Personality Description: Evelyn is a very strong-willed person. She is also extremely intelligent, clever, and witty. Her biggest fear is failure, while her  greatest strength is her fast thinking.  Her greatest ambition is to become an architect for the wizarding world. She has amazing creativity but also can think logically. She spends most of her free time reading. Evelyn has very little patience and is easily angered and upset. She tends to bite her nails when she gets nervous or else will chew on a strand of her hair. She is always quick to come up with the answers to anything and everything and becomes mad if she isn't the one with the best scores and grades. The best way to calm Evelyn is to give her a mug of Hot Cocoa, a book, and a cozy blanket. She mainly keeps to herself in situations that she isn't familiar with. But when she is with people she knows the quirky, fun side of her personality will shine through.

History: Evelyn Marie Larken was born to Sarah and Theodore Larken in Dublin, Ireland on June 27, 1995. She was the sixth and final child and the only daughter. Growing up her older brothers would always pick on her and tease her. Because of this Evelyn soon learned that have a strong will was the best way to survive her brother's. Evelyn's first sign of magic was when she was 4 years old. Her brothers had been attempting to drown her in a pond. As she was being held underwater she quickly realized that she was still able to breathe. Taking advantage of this she let herself sink to the bottom of the pond. Evelyn stayed underwater for almost and hour before coming up. Evelyn walked through the back door of her home to find her mother, father, and brothers sitting around the dining table with tear stained faces. When they saw Evelyn they surrounded her and hugged her. No one ever questioned what really happened. Since they were Muggles they just assumed it had been a very lucky circumstance. As Evelyn continued to grow up in the countryside of Ireland many other strange things like that of the pond incident continued to happen. Evelyn's eldest brother mysteriously contracted a rare form of blisters after having attempting to attach Evelyn to the ceiling fan. Her youngest brother had a strange growth on his stomach after trying to force a disgusting concoction of random liquids down Evelyn's throat. There was never any explanation for these happenings in their Muggle minds until the day Evelyn received her Hogwarts acceptance letter.
During her first five years at Hogwarts Evelyn received top marks in all of her classes. She never joined any clubs or other activities because she felt they would take away from valuable time she could spend studying. Almost all of her free time was spent reading. She only went home to Ireland during the summer, choosing instead to study at school during winter breaks. To her Hogwarts is the only place she can show who she really is without the constant pestering of her brothers. After receiving Outstanding's in all of her OWL's she dropped most of her classes and proceeded to take only the ones she felt were most important and beneficial to her education. She feels that the current tetrawizard tournament is a very bad idea and extremely dangerous. She has openly refused to support the idea.

Writing Sample: She was running. Running faster than she had ever ran before. Her breath was becoming shaky and shallow. The end was in sight. She was almost there. She could feel the sweat dripping down her neck; soaking her shirt and causing it to stick to her thin body. The wooden door was becoming larger as she neared it. Reaching out her hand she grabbed a hold of the cold, bronze handle. She pulled with all the strength she could muster. She heard the creak of the hinges that hadn't been touched in years. Joy filled her as she looked beyond the rotten door frame. As her eyes adjusted to the contrast of the sudden light she-
"EVELYN! GET UP!"
What was that noise? Was there someone else in the room beyond?
"EVELYN! MUM SAID YOU HAVE TO GET UP!"
Evelyn awoke to her brother standing at the end of her bed screeching.
"What do you want?" Evelyn said in a hoarse voice as she wiped the sleep out of her eyes.
"MUM SAYS IF YOU DON'T GET READY NOW YOU ARE GOING TO MISS BREAKFAST!" Her brother screeched.
"Fine! I'm up. Will please stop screaming and get out!" Evelyn demanded as she threw the blankets off her body and swung her feet to the floor. She quickly got dressed and hurried down the stairs to the kitchen. As she walked into the bright yellow room she smelled the sweet scent of fresh maple syrup. She sat down at the table and pulled a plate stacked high with pancakes towards her. As she drowned the pancakes with syrup Evelyn heard her eldest brother exclaim, "Woah there Evesie! Do you really think you need all of those pancakes?"
"Shut it," Evelyn said giving her brother the death glare. Only when he had turned away from her penetrating stare did Evelyn return happily to her breakfast.
