A big yawn and a stretch Olivia had dragged herself from her bed. While her dormmates were shuffling about getting read for bed she was shoving her shoes on and longing to be into something more comfortable. She was pulling on her robes and waving goodbye, rather than goodnight. Oh how the latter sounded so much better. With heavy feet she walked from the dorms, and shuffled through the common room with lead feet. She waved at a few of those she knew that still lingered, and took note of one of the young years that was passed out on the couch. If he was still there when she got back she would wake him up to move to his bed, he was bound to get cold. Ollie rubbed her eyes as she reached the door the common room and out she went. She took a survey of the corridors making sure nobody was lingering about breaking rules and the like before she headed up to the Entrance Hall. There she would meet Church the big ol head boy.

Who had deemed it a good idea to give her this position? Heck if she knew? In any event she was honoured but boy was she loathing it right now. No biggy pointing what people were doing wrong and encouraging them on the right path down lawfulness, but dang if these nights weren't late and she valued her sleep. She would be dragging herself out bed before it was too late to be getting breakfast. No, Olivia May Foley did not miss breakfast ever.

She smushed her hand on her head and rubbed, messing up her already messy hair even more as she finally made it into the entrance hall. She yawned once more and made a sort of odd sound as the yawn finished. Ollie dropped her hand but the damage to her hair was done and it was rather messy in that one spot. "Well lets get with the prefecting. Oh yeah, scouting out the wrong doers. Trouble just try and find a place to hide." She laughed, "Because Ollie and Church are on the case." She stopped for dramatic pose and held out her hand as if she was pointing a wand... which was actually tucked in her robes. "Church and Ollie might sound better, next time."

Okay. First patrol as Head Boy. First patrol ever, actually. Church hadn't even manage to sleep any, he had just sat up and done homework since Astronomy had let out. Although he had napped during the day he still couldn't help but yawning as he made his way down from Ravenclaw tower to the Entrance Hall. What was Jazz thinking deciding this was a good place to meet? Damned Hufflepuffs and Slytherins didn't know how good they had it...

The only person Church even ran into on his way down was Jazz as she headed back up towards Gryffindor. And from what she had muttered she hadn't seen anyone out of bed. Yawning quietly Church descended the staircase to the Entrance Hall. Seeing that he had a few minutes left before his shift actually started, he sat down on the lower steps and pulled his knees to his chest. These patrols were going to be the death of him, he could already feel it.

When Ollie arrived from the cellars Church was surprised at her enthusiasm. "Glad you're excited," Church said through a yawn. "It'll help keep me awake." Actually, he was a little bit excited, it just had nothing to do with the patrol itself. No, he was more excited to be patrolling with the Hufflepuff in question. He had missed his chance to talk with her some at the Pool Party and hadn't had a chance in class today to do so. That was partially why he had arranged the schedule the way it was.

"But I agree, Church and Ollie sounds slightly better," Church teased. Yawning again he pulled his wand out from his pocket and lit it, though the light didn't do much to illuminate the large space. "So, any particular preference on where we should first search for baddies?"

"I'll try," she said with a weak laugh. "I was about ready to pass out not but five minutes ago." Ollie said with an attempt to hide a bounce in her step as she walked over to him. Her feet still felt heavy and her steps were feeling laboured, but nothing as bad as before the full moon or directly after. No, Ollie was just tired and wishing to be lazy. "But I think we can manage to keep each other awake." Ollie really dreaded to think of the nights she would have with Sasha and how she would manage to stay awake. No doubt he was a bore and also well the air was bad between them. Ollie would avoid him if she had the choice but when stuck together she would survive. She just didn't want to yell at him was all.

"Church and Ollie, crusading the corridors of Hogwarts. They turn a core and gasp they must wrangle a student. What will they do? Next issue of Church and Ollie." She said with a smirk. "Battle the terrors or rule breakers and keeping the students lawful." She pulled out her wand and looked around. "Well, not really. Shall we check first flow fully?" She offered, "Go up? I could do a sweep of the dungeons before going to the common room save you an entire four trips of Hogwarts." Ollie shrugged.

Ollie had to put some spark into this rounds things, otherwise she might get bored. Why not turn their adventure in a live action comic book. They just got to act out what took place in the moving comic book squares she spent most of last year reading. Auror comics where super cheesy but a hoot! Hey, she should so write a comic about the adventure of prefects.

Church let out a small sigh mixed with a laugh at the girls antics. If someone had told him Olivia read police comice in her free time Church probably wouldn't have believed them. "I'm not sure these two detectives are ready for the dastardly schemes that the villains might send our way." He smiled and gave a slight shrug. "After all, we don't have proper names. Gotta be 'The, adjective, animal'. So I guess I'd be," Church paused for a moment considering. "Oh I don't know. The Cunning Raven?" It was way to late to be thinking up something like this...

Church glanced over his shoulders and back up the stairs when she said to work their way up. Up sounded good to him. "Yea, lets do that," he agreed. With that decided Church turned about and began heading up the stairway to the first floor with Ollie. This night was probably going to be a lot easier than he originally anticipated. Hopefully his first fifth year was this fun.

When they were about half way up he addressed her again. "So I noticed you ducked out of the party early," Church glanced at her and smiled slightly. "I mean I don't really mind, but we have some catching up to do. If that's fine, I mean."

"Most assuredly we will stop any scheme they might toss our way," she wiggled her eyebrows a little. Though she could not stop the slight yet quick laugh that escaped when he thought of his detective name. "If you are Cunning Ravenclaw, then I must be The Sneaky Badger." Ollie said with a quick grin and then she did an over exaggerated sneaking walk. It faded quickly enough as she was too tired to keep up that ridiculousness. It was hard work being quirky and exciting at this time of day.

Ollie walked up the stairs careful not to trip up over her own two feet, it was very possible knowing her. She was about halfway up when Church turned to talk to her again. "Oh yeah," she said slightly awkward. What to say in regards to the whole ducking out of the party early? She really didn't want to blame it on the major issue that was Sasha. She just wanted to avoid delving into that again. Sure she had announced on mass to SAWS what she had done. When she thought about it now, that was a major error in judgement. If she was honest to herself she had not expected to be allowed to go back to into these halls. Heck, she had never actually believe she would be a prefect. "Yeah I just sort of felt awkward. Girls and their lack of major scaring makes me feel awkward." She said awkwardly, that was part of the truth anyway. "I don't mind my scars normally but around so many girls or others without the extensive scaring I have, it just felt weird you know." Yeah, that was the honest truth about her scars at least.

"As for the catching up, ask away." Ollie said with a smile. "It has been a while." Ollie was just waiting for particular questions but she was going to make an effort to be honest.

"The Sneaky Badger sounds good to me," Church said cheerfully. Personally he wasn't sure how sneaky badgers were naturally but considering that hey were predators he imagined they must be pretty sneaky. Not that it mattered much if they weren't for it made her title that much better if she were the only sneaky badger in existence. Oh goodness, was this really what he thought about late a night? He certainly had problems...

He shrugged slightly at her scars comment. "Not really," Church admitted weakly. "I mean, I get where you're coming from. But I mean..." he trailed off slightly, not entirely sure how to put this. It was different for her, after all. "If it were me I don't think I would care, is all. I guess." Well this was certainly awkward. Church wasn't sure how he was coming off. He felt like a jerk.

"Anyway uh..." Church hesitated again as the two of them reached the top of the stairs. "Glad to be back?" he asked. He figured she would be expecting questions about being a werewolf but he honestly didn't want to bother her with it. He just wanted to get to know her... "Must have sucked being thrown out last year. I'm glad Snark is gone."
"Honestly I don't expect many people to get it," Ollie said with a shrug of her shoulders. Considering how much of her life story people didn't know, or the fact only last year she could expose parts of her scared body. She never got to wear tank tops in an attempt to hide the fact of what she was. Now she saw no point to it, but it was hard to be proud of some of the scars that wouldn't have been there if it weren't for the cruelty of the people in her early life. She shook any lingering thoughts from her head and turned to look at Church.

"Yeah glad to be back," Ollie nodded her head. "I missed it here." She had missed the people and missed the opportunity to learn with other people. The social aspect was a big part of what she had missed. "I missed Sophie and Fauna so much, but well still miss Fauna now." She shrugged her shoulders. "But Snark had her reasons I suppose. Not like she left me without any chance at an education she ensure I had tutors."
Church gave a small shrug. Most probably wouldn't get it. It was sort of hard to empathize with someone who was a werewolf. After all, it wasn't exactly for someone to imagine themselves in such a position. Even his scars weren't as bad as the ones Ollie had on her. Which probably meant the ones you couldn't see were even worse. And Church thought he had it bad as kid.

"I suppose she did," he agreed. Whether or not those reasons were right, or whether or not he himself agreed with them. He suspected that many people would do the same as Snark, and bar werewolves from enrollment. It was a common held view, that they shouldn't be allowed and Church was fairly certain Headmaster Reid was getting flak for allowing them in as it is. "I didn't know she ensured you had tutors though," Church admitted. He had honestly figured the werewolf students were left out to dry when they were expelled. "That's good that she did then. Redeems her some in my eyes." Up until now he hadn't cared that she was missing.

For a while he didn't say anything more, just continued to head down the corridors with her. Finally the perpetual silence became too much for him. "So who was that boy at the SAWS meeting?" Church asked with a glance at the prefect. "The Beauxbatons one."
"I think she thought it would be safest, and it showed her dominance you know." Ollie had not really taken it personally, but heck had it been now she might have. It was back when she was much more at peace with being a werewolf, like she had never known a life different than it. Though with the simple expulsion it had changed her opinion of herself, and when she had attacked Sasha it had ultimately changed her life on a much large scope. She saw the beastly side of her more readily, and not to mention the fact she was no longer a normal girl in the eyes of her classmates. It had been so simple to let people think she was normal, but now she wasn't and everyone knew. It was weird how it made her feel when others knew what she was. Ollie had sort of relished in the fact in the eyes of other people she was just normal.

"But she had given me tutors so she wasn't all bad," Ollie shrugged her shoulders. "I don't like her though." Ollie said with an awkward laugh. If Snark had never expelled her than they would never have known, and life would carry on like it had before. Funny how one person could ruin her life, well not necessarily ruin it but alter it to a new form. Ollie wasn't sure which was better, at least she didn't feel like she was hiding things anymore.

"Oh Corey?" She looked over at Church. "Yeah he is from Beauxbatons. Why do you ask?" Ollie wondered what had brought up the thought of her friend Corey. She did enjoy her cloud watching sessions with him.
"I suppose so. It probably made her reign easier too, y'know? No angry letters from biased parents." Church had honestly figured that was the main reason she had expelled them; because she didn't want to deal with the uproar and because it would be easy to get away with. Still, at least she didn't completely forsake them. "Yea, I'm not really fond of her either."

Church shrugged slightly, assuming Corey was who he was thinking of. He hadn't really bothered to learn the names of the foreign students yet. "I don't know, was just curious is all. You seemed happy to see him is all." At least it looked like she did, he could have read the signals wrong. "He's cute." Again he shrugged. It really wasn't any of his business, but knowing people were happy always made him smile. At least if he liked the person to some degree. Other people didn't deserve to be happy.

He gave a long yawn that caused him to stop in his tracks. "Damn," he muttered, pushing up his glasses to rub his eyes. "Barely been at it and I'm already tired. Do you think anyone actually gets caught by the patrols? Seems pretty easy to dodge a Sleepy Raven and an admittedly Sneaky Badger."
