Here to introduce my new character


Evelyn is a 7th year Ravenclaw at Hogwarts, and she needs friends, enemies, and acquaintances.
A little bit about Evelyn:
Evelyn is originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland. She is Half-Blood, with a muggle mother and a wizard father. Her father comes from a very prominent Pureblood family, and was shunned by his family for breaking tradition and marrying a muggle. As such, Evelyn has her own prejudices towards Purebloods. She's also a fairly private and secluded person until you get to know her. She doesn't enjoy casual mingling, prefering her time to spent doing something real and worthwhile. She enjoys music, stargazing and reading.

Ideas and People Anna Might Know:

• Other Ravenclaws: As Anna is a 7th year, she would obviously know her fellow Ravenclaws quite well. She avoids Purebloods in general but in Ravenclaw she tends to ignore the fact. Any classmates of Anna would of course be a part of her life.
• Family: Anna, being from a Pureblood family on her father's side, is connected to a great many Pureblood families. She has encountered some of her distant relatives while at school, and the experience has not been pleasant. She could have relatives who are at the school, and depending on what we decide, it could be a good relationship or a very bad one.
• Professors: Anna has always been a polite and respectful student, so it is likely she would have a good relationship with at least a few of her teachers.
• Friends: While quiet and introverted, Anna does value friendship, and would probably have at least a couple of good ones. I imagine she would be more likely to make friends with Hufflepufs and Ravenclaws, but a friend can come from anywhere
• Romantic Interests: Anna is interested in both men and women, though she doesn't make that information widely known.
• Enemies: Anyone who goes to school is bound to have someone they don't like. It doesn't have to be the type of enemy that Anna duels with, but perhaps some people who she just cannot stand. Again, Purebloods would unfortunately be the most likely, but Anna might find other people, such as really extroverted Griffindors, annoying. :p

I'm not sure how much I have to offer you plotwise, though.

I do play a Ravenclaw, but he is only a fourth year. He's quiet and reserved, a halfblood, and can come off as arrogant and condescending at times. He's lacking any great social prowess. His name is Baxter Fox. I also have a fourth year Hufflepuff who is loud, very rude and obnoxious, and horrible at magic. If Evelyn is the sort to get into tutoring, Winifred Oliver needs it desperately.

Closer in age to Evelyn, I do have two tournament students. One is a snotty pureblood from Beauxbatons who can barely speak English and is from Italy. The other is very friendly and from Salem- he's a Senior (equivalent to 7th year). A real sweetheart named Colton Outlaw.

I'd be happy to thread with you if we can come up with some ideas!

Also, definitely check out the threads in the great hall for club day! There is a Gaming Club meeting which focuses on things like wizard chess, gobstones, and some muggle games like Dungeons & Dragons. A Hogwarts Players thread for the theater group at Hogwarts. And there is also currently a meeting for the Hogwarts Howler which is the school newspaper.

First off, the Ravenclaws! There's Philo Falkin, geeky Second Year that collects odd gadgets, wizard raised halfblood, and seen about in Gaming Club. And then there's Ligeia Canterbury, the perky posh goth with a paucity of pigment (alliteration!). 6th Year, Prefect, very much an old Pureblood eccentric in aesthetic and culture but very open minded and never judgmental, whenever she isn't latently creeping other people out.

Also from Salem is Milton "Mace" Steinbeck, aloof roguish pseudo-slacker that breeds puffskeins and is here to chill through the tournament. He likes to gorilla broadcast the school with music, the eventual start of a student led wireless station.

Kelvin is a 4th year Ravenclaw who has a similar family background.  His mother is from a pureblood family, though one not anti-muggle/muggleborn, but she is still estranged from her family cause she married a muggle.  Kelvin doesn't dislike purebloods just for being pureblood but he is very proud of his muggle heritage and not shy about it

I have a couple of student characters! Eveyln is unlikely to run into Pax, since he's a second-year and in a different house, unless she's in any of the same clubs as him. But as far as antagonism goes, I've got Etienne Miroux, Beauxbatons seventh-year, who comes from a respected pureblood family. He's actually not a pureblood himself, but he passes himself off as one (almost no one knows he's really halfblooded), and fully buys into their ideals, so I could see him and Evelyn potentially butting heads if you'd like. He wouldn't be particularly overt about it, since he prefers not to draw too much attention to himself and doesn't want his purism to be common knowledge, but subtle snark and just generally not getting along? Etienne's at your disposal. (Oh, and if you ever do want to duel? Etienne's available for that, too!)

Hello hello hello, I'm Amberlee and I have a few students that might be fun for Evey to interact with.

First up there's Peyton Wentworth. Peyt is a sixth year Ravenclaw that would obviously know her through their house. Peyton is energetic and very friendly. He tries to be nice to everyone he meets. He's a major Quidditch player and has been on the house team for a few years now. Peyton is a halfblood who's father was disowned for his affair with a muggle that led to Peyton's birth. He doesn't really have much connection to his pureblood relatives though he carries the Pureblood name (Wentworth)

The Wentworths are my pureblood family I have here on AO. The Patriarch (Arathorn Wentworth) is a very wealthy business owner who values purity. He is a Howarts Governor as well as the owner of Wentworth Magical Menageries that have opened stores all across Europe and into Australia. The Wentworth clan is vast and always open for relations.

Which brings me to my second Sixth year - Xavier Tawse. Xavier is currently the golden boy of the Wentworth clan being the only male in the direct family that carries the Wentworth name and pure blood (Xavier dropped Wentworth from his name when his dad left) The other half of Xavier's pure blood comes from the Tawse clan who have been known to be dark wizards and Death Eaters. Currently Xavier's uncle (Cinaed Tawse) is the most wanted wizard in the UK. Xavier is, simply put a jerk and could easily be an enemy for Evelyn. He's also Peyton's arch enemy (and secret half brother) and would automatically hate anyone associated with him.

My other students likely wouldn't have much reason to interact with Evelyn and the only one of my adults that would be connected to her would be Berkeley Cavanaugh my Auror (if you chose her pureblood side of the family to be connected to the Wentworths
