Wand: Supple Aspen of nine inches it boasts a Decorated Handle that is done at the top and bottom ends of the grip A wide band of Celtic Knot work before it twists up into Spiral shaft. The wands core is Phoenix Feather. The wand is old the wood smooth and worn with age. Deidre was issued this as her wand for school.

Physical Description: She stands for an eleven year old five feet and four inches already. She sports a long lovely mane of bright auburn hair and Vibrant blue eyes.

She hit puberty at Ten and a half and has been dealing with growth spurts and the lovely awkwardness that comes with it.

A dusting of freckles can be seen from her face to her arms.  She also sports although it is doubtful they will be seen two scars on her back one just across her shoulder blade that is six inches the other that is seven inches that runs across her lower back.

Personality: Dee is likely to be a bit wary and cautious of her new school mates since she knows no one and is aware that they are young witches and wizards.  If she warms up to them though she will likely be the type to be very curious and ask many questions as well as trying to educate them on the fact that normal kids really shouldn't delve into such dark arts.

She likes playing the violin (shes been playing since she was five), singing, reading especially her bible verses, her pet Bunny which she left at home, horse back riding and most farm animals.

She does however dislike liars, rude people, ignorance, bees, peas, and is allergic to cats.  She is also not big into confrontations. Nothing upsets her more than people being angry with her and disappointing people that care for her.

History: Deidre Timkowski Was birthed into the world on New Years Day at one minute past midnight by her mother Mary. Her Mother was only eighteen at the time and there was no father to be seen. The towns local pastor Alexi Timkowski had been there to help the young woman during her time of need and pregnancy offering her spiritual guidance and council. It really didn't come as much of a surprise, that a year later, the Pastor married Mary and took her child in to rear as his own.

Deidre lived a very normal life as a child she grew up in a farming community and enjoyed the rural life. Her mother never mentioned the fact that Alexi was not her father and she looked so much like her mother that she would not have thought to ask.

She received home schooling from her father since he felt public educations were lacking and that children were in need of structure to flourish.  She was raised in a very religious house and this was all well and good her parents happy with many things until strange things started to happen around the home. Things ether Mary or Alexi could not explain. At first it was thought perhaps there had been a bad spirit that had managed their way into their homes, then the suspicion grew towards the young girl since things happened only when she was around. Convinced she was processed her parents tried their best to get rid of the taint through ritual. It wasn't long before the ministry steeped in and they saw to it Deidre soon had her letter to Hogwarts school arrive and a Wizarding social worker saw her case to have her enrolled to go to the school so she could be properly schooled. Her parents are completely freaked out about it.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?:
Deidre is a tough young girl. She has endured a fair amount of the past year and a bit with her muggle parents both physically and emotionally. She doesn't bear them any ill however because they were doing and caring for her the best that they could.

She was generally with normal children pretty friendly and laid back but is likely to be a bit cautious with new witches and wizards until she sees they’re real people just like her. She likes structure and order since those are things she has always grown up with.

Writing Sample:
Deidre looked up at the woman on the platform at the train station. Her robes itched and were old and worn. Her wide blue eyes flicked to the other children. “Do I really have to do this? I am scared. I don’t want to go to a school for kids that are witches and wizards. They’re likely going to be all evil. At least my Papa says that Witches and witchcraft are bad things. Why would you want to make a place like that anyhow?” She asked the young woman who was from the ministry to see her off.

The young Ministry worked smiled. “Things are not always as they seem Young Deidre your time at Hogwarts will teach you that. There will be many wonderful boys and girls for you make friends with, study with, and play with. You will learn how to control your abilities and if you choose to never use them after you graduate that will be your choice.”

Deidre played with the handle of her suitcase and looked so out of sorts as if she was almost ready to cry. But she squared her shoulders and put on a brave face and nodded solemnly. “Yes Miss.” She said quietly.

“The train is ready to leave you best be getting on it young lady. I will write to you and give you news of your parents if you wish it.”

“Please and thank you. I can write whenever I want?”

The woman smiled every week if you wish it my dear.

The red headed girl nodded “Very much so. Please tell my parents to not forget to feed Peggy. Shes my rabbit.” She said trying to hold back the tears she felt coming on. She gave the woman small timid wave and made her way onto the train with a suit case in hand and the patched robes on her back.
