There is great care in its wording, but unfortunately the hand that penned it is not as graceful. The ink is smudged and chicken-scratch scrawl makes it almost illegible.A Charmichael, a duine uasail,I hope this correspondence finds you well. My name is Tadhg Ó Briain, and I have recently accepted a position as a healer in St. Mungo's Magical Bugs & Diseases Department. I previously interned, trained and researched in St. Brigid's of Co. Kildare, Ireland, where I also specialised extensively in Praecantatio Deliquus, more commonly known as Magical Measles or 'Missing Magic'. Through my access to records since my arrival at St. Mungo's, I have learned that you are likely to have been the first official case of the abovementioned ailment. I believe your account would be of massive benefit to my continued research, and would be extremely gratified if you could find the time to answer my questions. I will endeavour to keep them brief and scientific and am available at your whim or by your schedule.I thank you for your time and for any guidance you may be able to provide. Is mise, le meas,Tadhg Ó Briain Skip to next post Re: [Mar 5th] A Request for Mysteries (Carmichael Rosier) Reply #1 on April 02, 2024, 12:31:16 PM Carmichael RosierUnspeakable, Space Chamber.A response arrives before noon in a plain envelope bearing the seal of the Department of Mysteries. The stationery is silver ink against black parchment, and smells of oranges. It sports beautifully cursive penmanship. To one Tadhg Ó Briain:Dear Sir or Madam or Other, Your request has been noted. Regrettably I am unable to profer an account of my experience with Praecantatio Deliquus as I am unavailable to meet. However, I can think of at least one other colleague affected by the ailment prior to myself. I have been asked to inform you that persons unnamed in the Department of Mysteries have an active interest in your research. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our work, there are queries we may be unable to answer without your conceding to an oath of secrecy. Should you still wish to proceed, my colleague will be in touch.Yours Ever So Sincerely,Carr Rosier Skip to next post Re: [Mar 5th] A Request for Mysteries (Carmichael Rosier) Reply #2 on April 03, 2024, 07:38:01 AM A response arrives very quickly, suggesting that the sender penned it immediately upon receipt of Rosier's owl.A Charr, a chara,Thank you kindly for your quick response and for your consideration.
