The Werewolf hunter seemed angry, although he always seemed angry, unless it was just he really hated her for no reason, or not liking Werewolves and that was why he was in the WCU, but at the very least he seemed to be able to be bossed around by the shop owner, and that was something she supposed she had to be thankful for.
She nodded slowly at the woman holding her hand, wiping the forming tears from her face even if it left her eyes redder then they should be, but she needed to try to act tough around the werewolf hunter, she couldn't show weakness to him or he would find some way to mock her for it, or give him fuel against her, that was not something she could allow him to have right now.
She stood herself up and looked towards him, before looking back at Zelda, briskly wrapping her arms around her to pull into a hug that she buried herself into, she was right, of course she was right, she just didn't like it, why was everyone right except herself?
She moved out of the hug and slowly sulked her way towards Kurby, glaring up at him with a soft hmph. "F-fine...l-lets go..." She mumbled before crossing her arms in an attempt to show some defiance towards him, even if she was to come willingly in the end. "Your office better not smell like a boys locker room." She said as she looked away from him completely, but still moved a hand onto him for apparition.

Hogwarts Lake and Environs / Re: [March 20] One day life will be kindApril 13, 2022, 04:05:20 PM Lucinda squirmed slightly in her spot, not that she should really, and it would be good to get it out right? But she was insisting and she was making up her mind, as a result Lucinda gave a slight nod of affirmation towards the Ravenclaw, a soft and low sigh escaping her lips as she did so, she wasn't too sure if she could retell it to her that well, or be able to hold it together, but she's had worse questioning, she's been asked on her dating and sexual life by the Ministry infront of her parents, if she could survive that then she could survive this!
"Someone attacked me and Greer." She felt the weight come off her chest almost immediately, it felt good to get it off even this little bit, she wanted to let it sink in a little before she continued, but she felt if she didn't now she would freeze up and be unable to. "We were trapped in silver...and they were going to kill us...but Ignan stopped them, they set fire to the forest to escape." She hoped her memory was right, she mostly remembered panicking, having her mouth removed, and frozen into a grave but she didn't think that would be too helpful for the situation, it was already a lot to get your head around for the Ravenclaw. She squirmed against the tree and opened her eyes once more, looking towards Eirene to gauge her reaction, she figured it would be to freak out or panic, she hoped she wouldn't, she needed some moral support right now and she'd happily take Eirene and her...fleabag living in the vine made cage right now. 3
Hogwarts Lake and Environs / Re: [March 20] One day life will be kindApril 02, 2022, 03:16:01 PM "Why wouldn't they single me out?" She said gently as she rested her head back to stare skywards, it was likely a bad idea as it meant her hair would get stuck in pieces of bark or sap, she just hoped there wasn't any bugs in the tree right now to go after her, that would be a nightmare.
"I left early as you said, then a stink bomb went off, then a fire, and everyone went back early." The stinkbomb she only learned more recently, as much as she wasn't super into the idea of the protest, she had to admit that the idea of a stinkbomb going off inside the shop was rather funny with the prankshop being pranked itself, except during a protest she wasn't sure if it was a prank. "I've been blamed and so it must be true..." She gave out a soft sigh and closed her eyes to avoid the sun a little. "A part of it is true anyway." She muttered quieter as she slumped herself down the main body onto the grass below and rested. She wasn't sure if it was safe to really tell the other student of what had happened, but at the same time, what would the Headmaster do? What power did he have? And the Ravenclaw would do what they did best and shove their noses into others business looking for answers. "I...was sorta...there for the fire..." 4
Sellaphix Apothecary / Re: [April 3rd] Runaways Bane (Zelda)April 02, 2022, 03:15:52 PM She curled herself up, there must be someone offering Wolfsbane, she remembered talk of rogue werewolves, how did they get wolfsbane and shelter for the full moon? Not everyone can afford it if they're rogue either, it wouldn't make sense to just let them transform without shelter or wolfsbane, obviously there were ones that attacked people making new werewolves, but that must just be cause they're either dark Wix or broke out...right?
"I-i just...I can't go home...a-and I'm not staying at the Ministry until the full moon." She said weakly, her voice cracking as she made herself into her usual comfort ball, protecting herself from the others and ensuring they couldn't see her clearly, especially as her composure started to break. "I-i could just leave...n-neither of you could have seen me...I-i'll find some mine or something to hide in during the full moon...Cornwall has lots of those...it'll be hard for me to get out of as a werewolf so no one will get attacked i..." Her voice cracked as she shuddered, quickly moving her hands into her face as she tried to suppress herself. 5
Sellaphix Apothecary / Re: [April 3rd] Runaways Bane (Zelda)March 16, 2022, 05:21:23 PM She didn't like being confronted with rationality, it was something that parents and adults could often do well enough to control her and make her go against the most logical option to do, in this case it was to climb out the window and run away from the werewolf hunter who wanted her to stay in a dangerous and horrible place over night with the high risk of whoever was after her...getting her.
"What if I like climbing out of windows." She mumbled in frustration as ultimately she caved in and stormed over to the seat, angrily sitting herself down, making the fabric give a small blast of air as her weight swiftly descended on it, followed by a small snarl of frustration as she crossed her arms over her chest and stared at the werewolf hunter who had been brought in, as much as she wanted to stare at the one who betrayed her, she didn't think she'd be able to. "If you knew I wanted Wolfsbane why didn't you just point me somewhere that sells it? Or are you really a shop that is designed to catch those that don't trust the Ministry?" It would be a great way for the Ministry to catch rogue werewolves after all, it was essentially what had happened here. She watched the WCU member, she wasn't trusting he wouldn't try something to grab her and apparate off, especially with him seeming rather grumpy all the time, it seemed likely he would just do it so he could go to his bed earlier. 6
Muggle London / Re: [August 6th] Between Moons (Lucinda)March 16, 2022, 05:21:13 PM "Not everyone, but there's enough...and in the worst places." She sighed, she didn't suppose that her mentor would disagree, but she hoped she would, she didn't love conflict, especially she supposed with her, but she wanted to be so wrong about it.
She looked over at the bird seed, she was glad to see it wasn't bread, but she shook her head softly. "I'm fine thank you, you be their friends." She said gently as she looked over the ducks being happy at the feed being given to them, it was enjoyable to see them splash about, having the time of their life in the water and getting free food, she half wondered if they'd get in trouble for feeding them. Then slowly she stopped walking, it was the 6th of August, and it came to mind that soon she'd be at a year since her attack, she's still not really opened up about the attack, at several points she almost attacked the ministry worker who had been asking her questions, if she didn't shut down completely over the questions, but with a sigh she hugged her arms and looked downwards. "Is there a point...where you forget what its like to be...human?" She asked softly, not wanting any others who might be around to hear. "I...i was attacked on the 13th...its not even a year yet and even now its...it feels like...I can't imagine ever not fearing the full moon..." She almost turned into a whisper as she spoke. "Next month is a full year of transformations..." She felt herself getting emotional, she didn't want to cry or break down, so she did her best to push it down, even as a tear came to her eye. 7
Muggle London / Re: [August 6th] Between Moons (Lucinda)March 04, 2022, 10:51:21 AM "Likely done by someone who viewed us as disposable." She sighed as she rested back, she knew there was likely answers to anything werewolf if you dug far back enough, its juts that the notes written were by someone who thought that bad smells could get you sick, and that killing cats was a good cure for the plague or something dumb like that, so how much they could be trusted was up for debate.
She gave a groan and stretched her legs, sitting idly here was making her restless, even with the full moon being 4 days ago, she was restless, maybe it was the blue moon, maybe it was something else, either way she wanted to do something, not just sit here doing nothing even if she was enjoying the peace and quiet of the moment. Slowly Lucinda stood herself up and stretched, glancing back at her, the whole cursed bodies meaning they weren't fertile made some sense, she doubted even in that case neither of them would of been interested in...creating babies, she can't even imagine two werewolves transformed wanting to do anything but fight and tear eachother apart, even with Wolfsbane the two would be aggressive and territorial over their small box they would be stuck in. "I don't think I can sit here much longer, wanna do something else?" She asked as a shiver ran through her. "What's a good way to burn some energy you reckon? Not the...way you were talking obviously." She wasn't entirely sure, although she knew she likely could get a ball somewhere, dogs always lost balls on walks for them, only to find another or a stick or something. Although she wasn't entirely sure if playing catch was too great an idea either in the end, especially near water. "I think I'm game for mostly anything." She said softly as she walked towards the water, then looked back at Adrestia to see if she had any ideas, while fearful of being too close to the water incase of a swan attack. 8
Correspondence / Re: [August 2012] Facts and warningsFebruary 27, 2022, 01:10:36 PM Greer.
New Owl, who this. Also I'd like to see you try, I doubt you're able to do anything remotely close. And if you did, you'll find yourself in St Mungos I hope you're doing well over the summer. Lucinda 9
Muggle London / Re: [August 6th] Between Moons (Lucinda)February 23, 2022, 02:32:10 PM "I didn't even break any rules." She groaned as she leaned back further, stretching her legs out, all she did was run away from home, how was that illegal? Several people ran away for a night, was that illegal? Besides she had a good reason for it all, even if ultimately her fears didn't come true, but surely that was due to the amount of ministry attention given to her as a result afterwards.
"It doesn't feel like it should be legal to track us to such a degree." She huffed. "I'm sure they don't track people like the Malfoys as much as us, or any other former deatheater." She knew most are likely in Azkaban but it still seemed like too much watching on werewolves by the Ministry. After awhile she just shifted softly in her seat, seeing a small duck flap its tiny yellow wings as it swam through the water, it was...not bad to watch she supposed, but slowly she figured, they were already talking, there was no point to not ask questions she had...sure she asked some with the head of the werewolf wing visiting SAWS, but that was a far more public setting...and likely she was Ministry propaganda, even if she was a werewolf herself. "Being a werewolf means I can't be an animagus, like ever, doesn't it? And like, what about pregnancies, that person...Iona?" She thinks that might of been the name, it was like, a year ago or whatever that they had their second SAWS meeting. "Said it was complicated but didn't go to far. Do the children get marked and watched due to the mother being a werewolf? Is it possible for two werewolves to make a new one on the full moon? Are those even human?" She shook her head and sat up a bit straighter, she probably asked too much and kept a red blush on her cheeks. It wasn't as if she cared for the idea, but like, she was one now, she supposed it made sense to know stuff right? 10
Sellaphix Apothecary / Re: [April 3rd] Runaways Bane (Zelda)February 23, 2022, 02:31:49 PM Lucinda still didn't trust him, even with the older woman giving a commanding tone to both, she didn't trust either of them now, one was a Werewolf hunter who is distrusted by Knox, even if she distrusts him, and has shown up before she was attacked at Hogsmeade during a Pro Werewolf rally. The other she had only just met and bringing her in just seemed like a way for her to entrap her until the hunter showed up.
It seemed more like leading a stray off the streets and feeding them until the catcher could arrive to take them away to the pound. Only in this case Lucinda should of been much smarter then this. "If I go to a ministry cell then I'm going to be killed." She said bluntly as she glared between the two, her body slowly backing up further to the window. "Someone is after me, and someone has recently broken into a safehouse and killed two fully transformed werewolves. Doesn't strike me as very safe does it?" She said with confidence she didn't truly have, she was just reacting to the adrenaline running through her, the only reason she was really brave enough to run her mouth to the larger man that had come in and likely could lift her with one arm. She wasn't sure what she really planned to do, the window was an option but she didn't think she'd make it, and even then, what happens after? What does she do if she makes it outside? Where would she go? She'd be completely without wolfsbane, but she knew it wouldn't be a good idea to just...go with him to the ministry. "I won't be safe there overnight." 11
Muggle London / Re: [August 6th] Between Moons (Lucinda)February 18, 2022, 11:20:40 AM She seriously got those terrible tat shop tins, it genuinely amazed her that anyone bought anything from those kinds of shops, she just assumed they survived off of pity or were free to keep or something like that, some sort of tax scam likely by a rich person to keep all their money. But hearing someone bought from them was another thing entirely.
The idea of her weekend wasn't...terrible, it wasn't something she thought she would ever do herself...although a part of her wants to, a nice long bath sounded so calming and nice but she doubted she'd be able to actually relax inside it, some part of her would want to just get it over with and run off, instead she just found herself taking long showers after her transformation usually, standing under the hot water until her skin turned red from the head and she couldn't see more then an inch infront of her from the steam...she guessed both were their own type of relaxation. Getting onto her bed to watch tv in a large fluffy dressing gown after always felt amazing. The cosy dinners with a girlfriend didn't seem like something she'd get to experience anytime soon, with her parents less likely to trust her and needing check ups, but also just...finding someone. She wasn't even sure if she was into girls or boys, or both, just that she wanted someone to be with, but after what happened with Zeta, she didn't quite feel up to trying it again. Then she started to get into the other thing, while not getting intimate in the details Lucinda still turned a bright shade of red at the almost bluntness of it, not to mention the little smile she had, turning ear to ear red, Lucinda looked away from her and gave a small cough, she didn't quite want any images in her head right now from the topic, but it wasn't something she was expecting an adult to just talk plainly about, even her parents still didn't feel right with the birds and the bees. "Well, as far as I know, I'm not getting any of...that urges." She coughed again as she squirmed uncomfortably. "I mostly just...want to curl up and rest on something warm, or with someone warm." She said gently as she let off a soft groan. "That and be left alone, but you get all the people in the ministry surrounding you and wanting to talk to you...I'd rather if they just...didn't." She added with a hint of annoyance, it was always far too noisy in the ministry, not to mention it smelled really, really bad in the morning after, worse then any changing room or plane she's been in. 12
Muggle London / Re: [August 6th] Between Moons (Lucinda)February 18, 2022, 07:46:02 AM "Will I regret asking what you mean by having a fun weekend? I've heard about adult werewolves and the...energy that comes from it." It was hard to not hear about it from when she was taken to the Ministry, her hearing was good, and whenever you gathered alot of nervous werewolves together they would start talking about more...intimate behaviours they had, despite her wishes.
She believed in what she said about the museum, its most likely empty or just has really boring and quiet people inside it, she didn't hate museums but certainly wasn't what she considered as a fun time commonly, but she did believe the poltergeists were nowhere near as bad as Peeves. She doubted Peeves was a Poltergeist half the time, more like a biblical demon coming into the world to torture students for their own amusement, it was the only logical conclusion she could come up with. She glanced over at the sweets and shook her head, they weren't ones she really liked, and it made her question how old Adrestia actually was, like she was pretty sure the only people who carried those around were like...grandparents? "No thanks, I'd rather not think of you as my grandmother offering weird clumped together sweets and keeping weird sweets about. She sort of disowned me." She felt a little bad at how she said it, not quite wanting to insult her, but it wasn't...entirely not true? Who really had those sweets? Atleast pear drops were understandable to have around but rhubarb and custards were...ew. "Do you also have a biscuit tin filled with sewing equipment?" She asked with a soft smile, sliding herself a bit further down the bench. 13
Muggle London / Re: [August 6th] Between Moons (Lucinda)February 17, 2022, 04:45:45 PM She didn't think she had fully recovered after the full moon, maybe she was just forgetting about them after every transformation, but it seemed like each one was more draining then the last, this one felt especially rough and all she still wanted to do was curl up and eat icecream under a blanket, unfortunately she didn't have the chance to do so today, partially as she was out of icecream, partially as her mum told her if she wants more she needs to get it. But mostly because she had to go to a stupid meeting with another werewolf about being a werewolf.
It wasn't as if the woman was mean, she was actually very nice to be around, it was just...the situation about it all, she was forced to go to her, she in turn was forced to be with Lucinda, sure she had volunteered for the mentorship thing but that was still being assigned to be with Lucinda. She sighed and walked towards her, she felt somewhat naked without her wand but her parents were hiding it from her until she went back to school, they weren't...angry or anything over it all, something that surprised her greatly, but they weren't trusting her with it and now her window doesn't open as fully as it once did, so they were taking precautions against her. She sat down next to her and leaned back, looking at the water, were swans really the most interesting thing she had on her mind? Or was it just for her own benefit? She remembered blowing up a little at Adrestia when they first met...nothing major...just some insults about the situation, a chair may of been broken, nothing serious. "You couldn't of picked somewhere more fun?" She said softly as she crossed one leg slightly over the other, her hands going into her jean pockets after lowering the hood on her pullover hoodie, both of her running shoes seemed muddy but they almost always did. "Its...not the most interesting place." Although her tone betrayed a comfort of the area, it was quiet and peaceful, away from others, it was relaxing. 14
Sellaphix Apothecary / Re: [April 3rd] Runaways Bane (Zelda)February 15, 2022, 06:57:13 PM She had. Called. The. Bloody. Werewolf. Division.
She was just going to hand her over to the Ministry and act like it was nothing, and even then it was to him! Knox hated him, and as much as she distrusted Knox right now, he must have a good reason to distrust this hunter more then he does the others, she'd never really met any hunters and only briefly knew this one, more in an attempt to annoy Knox then anything. Lucinda jumped out of the seat she was in and swiftly drew her wand out, not aiming at him but as a threat, she had no confidence in her ability to get a spell off before he could, let alone to be able to cast a spell without Aurors swarming the location and every inch in the next twenty miles, but she had to do something to buy her time as she glanced around for an escape route, the only two viable ones seemed to be through him... Or through the window. It wasn't something she wanted but it was her best bet to be able to escape this encounter, if she got taken to a ministry safehouse then she was dead, if she was taken to her parents then her parents were at risk. "G-...get...out now." She tried to sound threatening, a small snarl in the back of her throat, she knew it wouldn't be intimidating, she just needed the time as she took a step to the side. 15
Sellaphix Apothecary / Re: [April 3rd] Runaways Bane (Zelda)February 13, 2022, 02:36:47 PM She went off to do something, leaving Lucinda alone for the time, she considered the chance of making a run for it...but she really couldn't make her own Wolfsbane could she? She was going to have to rely on her for getting them, if the woman knew how to get some, she would need to stay for it wouldn't she? There was the chance of her getting the potion, she didn't seem the type to just leave her hung and dry in the end...
She glanced about the room and slowly relaxed, if nothing else she was by herself and could rest while waiting, her hands nervously gripped at her wand in her pocket as she tried to keep herself calm, she hated the idea of being separated from her wand, especially now. Soon however Miss Zelda was back, holding chocolate with her. She did her best to keep calm while she was talking with the other woman, although more so just shaky small talk, she slowly tried to explain her reasons for running away, of the fight in the forest and the trap, although she preferred to not go into too much detail, just what was needed. Surely she'd understand that she was trying to save her parents, someone is after her after all! After awhile however she...smelt something was off, her eyes narrowed as she shifted and tried to tell what was wrong, she then shot a look towards Zelda, a mixture of confusion and fear at the change. |
