Hex her face off? That was an unusual term, can he remove her face? Interesting, interesting indeed. He really didn't seem to like her, which was both intriguing and funny to her, why would he be so scared, well obviously she drank blood, not enough to kill however. Even with that as the case she wouldn't kill him, she already said she wouldn't feed off him. Or atleast she hoped she did, but she supposed it was good he wanted nothing to do with her, means he is less likely to tell of theft. Although she did give it back so was anything truly stolen?
"By wealthier, you mean anyone worth any amount of time?" She asked with a smirk, trying to get a rise out of him, he wanted to be rude, she can be back. "If I robbed from wealthy then someone may care."
She heard the weariness in his voice, but she didn't think that excused pure rudeness. "Fine then, you have my permission to leave, go leave back to your crevice." She leaned onto the wall, a mocking smirk taking over her face. "Just know that your tone isn't how you speak to a lady. Be nicer if you ever want someone."

Knockturn Alley / Re: [March 10th] Feral and Civil (Tristan Vaillancourt)July 23, 2020, 01:44:22 PM As honest without risking criminality, that likely meant she would be giving very little information most likely, she has a feeling for what her name was but that is what it was, whoever had that name was gone, she doubted that she was acting anything at all like they were before becoming a vampire. She wasn't even sure if she just had amnesia, maybe she has been a vampire for years but forgotten her history, that was also very likely to be what had happened, so what she would be able to tell and what she cannot would be very disappointing and they may just kick her out.
He wanting to leave, she was faintly annoyed that she didn't manage to rob him but this...something else, for certain it was something else. and she had not expected it, ambush still seemed much more likely to her but she had not been captured or robbed herself, and atleast there seemed to be some sort of purpose to do now other then survive. Camden Town Hookers, she wasn't sure if it was a joke or not it was a lead of where to go and would apparently give her good shelter. Maybe a brothel would be a fine place for a Vampire to reside, lots of people so never lonely, open during the night so can sleep through the day. Still seemed an odd choice for...what did he say? A coven? Again confusing as to why he would send her to a group of witches but if they would put up with her, that was fine, she would be quiet, she knew how to be quiet. "Merci beaucoup." She said calmly, memorizing in her mind the location given, she would head to where she was hiding, grab her worldly possessions of some money and head there, if they were to tolerate her she guessed money would make her more tolerable. Gracefully she stepped aside and inclined her head as if giving him permission to leave, a friendly smile on her face as she kept both hands behind her back, trying to restrain herself from gaining additional funding from a generous contribution he would be, hopefully, unaware of. 3
Knockturn Alley / Re: [March 10th] Feral and Civil (Tristan Vaillancourt)July 23, 2020, 12:51:47 PM "What do they register. And who has the information?" She asked bluntly, supply to blood sounded good, it was better then how she was feeding, but it was risky, if the Ministry's worked together, or the French Ministry put up about her having escaped, she was in big danger. She knew she was invisible to mirrors but cameras, was another problem. Could they record her image? She is pretty sure she gave those after her the slip, she might be safe, they may think she is still in France, it seemed likely, she supposed most newly turned Vampires would try to stay around where they were for a few years, but there was still the risk.
She took the card and looked it over, people still used business cards? It was an odd thing but she supposed it still had some use considering Wix do not use much technology, and could always change the information on them more easily. It was still an odd thing, and now she wasn't sure how to put it away, if she put it in her pocket it might get ruined. He seemed so casual at this, although him saying his job could explain it, here she was trying to rob him and it turns out this is just what he does for a living, fate really had a fun way to play with her. "If I was to, can you get me shelter? I have a good amount of money." She figured it was safer to not tell him how she acquired the money although she figured if he was used to this he can likely guess, which wouldn't be great as all her money is permanently borrowed from people without their consent. "Or at least point me towards others who may." 4
Knockturn Alley / Re: [March 10th] Feral and Civil (Tristan Vaillancourt)July 23, 2020, 10:01:18 AM He was a vampire also, that is why he was so unusual, the smell, the movements, the tone, everything started making more sense, she wasn't the only one. She could find others and work with them...but that brought on different problems. Would she even fit in? Firstly they were likely English and she French, but he was also French. Secondly, was that he seemed to be moving about people normally, like he belonged, maybe it was to blend in, or maybe she was the odd one out, taking to the streets and robbing people.
When she had first woken up it took her awhile to realize what had happened to her, and then she remembered that Vampires were distrusted and there was anger towards them, she didn't know much else about them other then there was hatred, so she had taken to the streets and robbing, trying to survive when she was sure she was unemployable or unwanted, going to be hunted for what she was, the past year could of been a lie...but regardless she was now unwanted with the French Ministry being after her. What was the word he used? Registered? What did that mean? That they were put on file, marked, branded? Put on a register? That wasn't possible for her now regardless or she would be taken away. Regardless of the panicking thoughts she did her best to calm down, there must be others, even if there are those who can live normally there must be others like her, right? Or maybe she was wrong, and they did just blend in. "Je ñ'ai pas été registrée."[1] She took a step towards him to observe his teeth, eyes drifting to weigh him up and down shortly followed. "I do not know what it is, but if you are offering. Shelter, or if you know any others?" She didn't feel like he would betray her just yet, and they had talked so far, it would be rude to not properly introduce herself. "J'mapelle Sade. Et toi?"[2]

Knockturn Alley / Re: [March 10th] Feral and Civil (Tristan Vaillancourt)July 22, 2020, 02:26:34 PM "Pardon monsieur?" She replied quickly, confusion quickly going over her features, what would she need help wise from him? She didn't even know who he was, he sounded like he was French, like her, but it was difficult to trust, it was a weird accent, not one that she knows, maybe he's French Canadian? Or from around the boarder was also likely, but that did not answer the question.
She composed herself and took a few steps forwards. "Comme au magasin?"[1] She asked, prowling to the sides of the streets, preferring to be closer to the wall and anything that can give her a hand in scaling to the rooftops again if needed, this was, none of this was, like she expected. And she was prepared for something different in this encounter. He was still off to her, the smell, the movement, she couldn't pin it but there was something to him that she cannot mark down. "What exactly would someone want from you. As you seem to be...expecting this?" Was he just trying to act calm like this was normal, or was he used to being followed into alleys by women, she supposed neither mattered at all in this situation. Other then that her prey was not the prey it seemed, her thoughts had been right that this was not normal and she was being led somewhere, with a slight worm of sadness she realized that she likely couldn't rob him. Her eyes made sure to keep darting along the rooftops in the case that this was an ambush, but she did her best to remain calm in the situation, she doubted a human would be able to notice that she was now shifting slightly uncomfortably but she still had no clue on him, which probably made her even more so uncomfortable. But he was offering to help her with something, or atleast seemed to be requested of things. Other then good shelter and meals she didn't know if there was much, but it was dangerous to outright ask for things like that.

Knockturn Alley / Re: [March 4th] Pickpocket and Thief (Nate Briggs)July 15, 2020, 01:35:55 PM "What if I have. Or I am just looking for a place? You seem to know a thing, why not join? Get more then this." She held out the money before tossing it towards him, this was interesting enough, in the first place she likely spent more time then the amount of money he had was worth, and secondly this was a good enough outcome that she didn't need the money from him, just someone to talk to was turning out well.
"But say that I have money, I just need somewhere safe to sleep. Where might you recommend?" She eyed him up and down again with a small smirk on her lips. "Or perhaps if you are not so scared, might share non?" She teased, her tone attempting to imply a joke with it although her lack of communication in the past year or so has not helped her with talking, but she has to her knowledge a way around, she was not wanted, people were scared of her, she could only come out at night, what sort of person would willingly want to talk to her. She exhaled and closed her eyes. "Do not fear, I fed recently and can control myself." She opened her closest eye to look at him. Partly for expecting an attack and to make sure he isn't running yet, she wanted to toy with the prey more before releasing or they run. 7
Knockturn Alley / [March 10th] Feral and Civil (Tristan Vaillancourt)July 06, 2020, 12:06:46 PM This prey was different, she had spent some time around London, she had an encounter with a Wizard. That was interesting, the prey didn't seem to care much over it all. Nervous but who wouldn't be. However this prey was very different, they smelt different for certain, and moved quietly. The route was odd also. Nothing about this seemed right, but yet she was intrigued, she wanted to see this through.
Sade had started on the rooftops picking her target out, this one seemed to be moving odd and caught her attention, they moved so differently from everyone else, seemed so different yet she couldn't place it, paler? Yes, sure. So she had followed, even if she got no money from it, this was something she wanted to inspect, investigate and hunt down. Money would be good also, always good from prey. She followed for a time on rooftops, their route made no sense after awhile, atleast not to her, maybe they liked it? To keep it easier for herself she soon took to the ground however, following at a distance, running across roofs got tricky at a point and she knew not to push her luck with being spotted, harder to get out of situation if caught up on roof, why would a normal person be up on them? What could prey be, either they were human, but to her they stuck out in various ways, it didn't feel normal, or they were something else. Another Vampire? It seemed possible she wasn't only one, however she had not encountered another, and they brazenly walked out in public, why were people not reacting? Not going after them? It was intriguing, had they a technique to blend in? Could Vampires have powers to blend in? It wasn't until they entered Knockturn that she started to catch on that something was up, had they noticed her? Was she spotted? If so was he leading her into a trap? If it was a trap for her, that those who hunted her had already caught on, this could be her end, she took no relish in the idea. So she took to the roofs again, making sure to look for any signs of an ambush while following, slowly but surely. If they already knew then they would know she was still following, perhaps they didn't know at all and they just had a long way to work. Perhaps they were trying to avoid someone else? The roof was her safe place though, the prey can be on the ground, if into an alley they went, she had the high ground, harder to ambush when at a disadvantage. She could take out anyone who was waiting to ambush the hunter. They seemed to be stopping, this was her chance. No one seemed to be here, potentially a trap still, but on one side was the prey, on the other was freedom. She moved down to the street again, no one was around but the prey, they may be hiding but she knew for now she was safe. How does she play it, either confront, or play dumb. She was lost, in a scary world. The damsel in distress again, didn't work on the Wizard, maybe on this one. "Bonjour." She said calmly, though she was certainly anything else on the inside. 8
Knockturn Alley / Re: [March 4th] Pickpocket and Thief (Nate Briggs)July 06, 2020, 11:06:25 AM Did she earn a meal this way? She supposed sometimes, she doesn't like feeding off of people this way, she doesn't like feeding at all. But that was more likely to do with her feeling guilty over it, but there wasn't another way for her to feed, either she attacked people or she fed when they were asleep. She preferred the latter, and she did her best to pay back for it.
"Meal? Non, shelter? Oui. I find a few fall for it and I take their money. Drunks are easy but don't often have much." She glanced at his neck before looking him over again, she didn't need to feed but it was worth sizing him up, though she doubted he could outrun or fight this close. She had speed and if he fled she was in danger, so she would have no choice but to go all out incase he tried telling someone. "My, so you call. Meals, shouldn't know what happens. Or I am doing something very wrong." She said with smoke exhaling from her. "You earn meals being robbed?" She smirked as her hand jingled his money to tease. 9
Knockturn Alley / Re: [March 4th] Pickpocket and Thief (Nate Briggs)June 27, 2020, 06:42:18 PM "Who said I'm returning the money." She casually remarked, putting one rollup away as she lit the second, covering the lighter from the wind as she did so. He was an odd one, he seemed uncomfortable to her, but not too scared of her, even suspecting she is a vampire, he was interesting prey. Even if she didn't make much this experience was a very peculiar encounter and something she hoped she remembered, if her memory doesn't go again.
"Maybe I will keep them non? Maybe I'm interested in why you want these more then your money." She moves her hands back and then leans onto the wall herself. "I can make an offer for your money back." "Et oui, je suis Vampire. Et toi?" She glared towards him, head tilted down with a smirk over her features, maybe she can get more from this then she thought if this didn't make him flee, atleast she would have the money however. 10
Knockturn Alley / Re: [March 4th] Pickpocket and Thief (Nate Briggs)June 18, 2020, 05:43:31 PM Sade at first was amused by his reaction to her suddenly being by his side, although that turned into cautious smugness as he drew a wand. That was not something she was fond of. She didn't think most people liked having men waving their sticks at them, even if it was a decent length it still seemed rude to do so. She made sure as he was pointing it at her to hide the money on her person, didn't want him quickly wanding it out did she, it was hers, she had won it fair and square. Her prey had no say anymore.
She kept watching as he seemed to relax somewhat, although she was not sure if it was being tired or just fed up, both of these things could work, perhaps he knew the superior predator was around and he had no way of stopping her. She doubted it, people could be very dumb, especially when considering he was seeming to miss one of his fingers, well that was the wrong term, he had flayed one of the fingers. It didn't seem like a good thing to do, likely not self inflicted, unless he was dumb or into that sort of thing. Cigarettes? Oh yes, she supposed she didn't need his, she still had some of her own and he had sort of caught her, he deserved that atleast. She pulled the pack out and tossed it towards him, then pulled out another sort she had taken from a muggle. She rolled a couple and pulled a lighter with a smirk. "Oui, monsieur may have them back." She said calmly as she offered one of her own rolled ones. She didn't even need to smoke, well, she didn't feel anything from it, she doubted she could take any damage from them, she supposed it was just force of habit. She held her two between a couple of fingers and stretched her hand out in an offering of sorts. Her other reaching for a lighter in her pocket. "You do not want the money back aswell?" She asked, it was curious that someone cared more about a few cigarettes over their money. 11
Knockturn Alley / Re: [March 4th] Pickpocket and Thief (Nate Briggs)June 16, 2020, 07:00:04 PM She got up to the prey, he was not very willing, on edge, she could have fun with him, the ways to stalk him, he was defensive, he likely had money, or knew things, both were good, money she needs, information is power, the information would be more useful then money. Especially if he was from around this dingy alley, he didn't look like he wanted to be caught, she supposed most people wouldn't want to be caught in an alley.
But he was being most unhelpful, it was fairly rude to say the least. Most uncooperative and trying to get her to go away, this would not do, what if she needed directions? Of course she didn't but the idea that if an innocent lost girl came here and asked him he would just leave her to her fate, not help her out. It was somewhat disgusting that he would leave someone like that in this place, she was pale sure but what if she was just unused to being outside. If anything taking his money seemed like the least she could for karma, she would need more from him. He started pointing down the alley, she turned to look while her hand glided deftly as it reached for his pocket, in an attempt to lighten his load. This was the least amount of justice she could do for someone who would leave a poor girl stranded in a dark alley, filled with lowlifes and...worse things. 12
Knockturn Alley / Re: [March 4th] Pickpocket and Thief (Nate Briggs)June 09, 2020, 05:00:35 PM Apparate? Oh yes the popping thing she's seen people do, what did she remember about it...she'd learned that you had to be trained to do it, so that helped, lie, she should lie, she was not qualified. Simple solution, tell she's a vampire, not efficient here. Lie and say she is not trained to do so. He was not falling for her damsel approach, she would have to work harder at it, she can do that, she has had tough sells.
"Non, I am not how you say, trained? Practiced?" She hoped that not everyone could do so, he was walking and she'd seen others do it, if it was easy they would do it all the time, simpler and quicker, never be late, if awake. Although he may be sentimental, if spooked he would. She doesn't want that chance, she spent time following this prey, she spent too much time following, meaning she needed to get from him or she has wasted her chance. "Monsieur, s'il vou plait, I would appreciate your help to find my way." She approached to lean into him a bit, her lips slightly parted in the hopes to give herself that slightly lost and scared look to herself, like she is latching onto the first person in the naive belief they will be her knight in shining armour. It had worked on people before, and she had no doubt that someone in a seedy alley would usually love to take advantage of that, especially after leaving a club. A 'perfect' evening to their nights, foolish for them to expect anything but their money to be taken from them, walking into such an obvious trap. 13
Knockturn Alley / [March 4th] Pickpocket and Thief (Nate Briggs)June 01, 2020, 10:24:34 AM She had found her way to London, well, the trains atleast managed to get her there, a line from Portsmouth to Kings Cross Station. And at that she had become lucky, she saw a wix after leaving Kings Cross, they did have some weird outfits here. And she followed them, soon finding the way into their magical areas, Diagonalley they called this one. It was weird for it to be named after a direction, it was such a weird name, why would you choose that as a name of a place? Was there another magical location in England called Horizontal? She couldn't wait to visit Vertical.
So far she had found the location and the way to get in, so she decided it would be best to get herself some funds and find her way through some London streets. She knew the way back, so it didn't matter if she went exploring. But that was yesterday now, now was today. It was night, she had already taken some generous donations from people and now she was looking for shelter, but she could not pass up on this. Prey, it was around eleven in the evening, and this person was now leaving what appeared to be a club called Calaveras, they would be easy to take a surprise donation from, and as such she had followed for a bit, although something was off, he didn't really seem drunk, however that didn't matter, meant most likely he had more money as he hadn't spent it on alcohol, this was very good. She decided that while they were in the dark streets of...knockturn? It was a better name nonetheless. Now it was her time to strike, so speed up her walking to catch up to him. Next tactic was how to play this, she knew English, she hated speaking it, but she could, either she could just try slipping the money from the pocket as she want past, but she was behind and with so few about it would be noticeable, she didn't want another encounter like a couple nights ago now. A lost damsel approach could be best she figured, especially in somewhere as dark and grim as this, who wouldn't want to help out the little lost french girl from the scary alley? "Pardon monsieur." She said softly but raised enough for it to travel, he would likely see her face but it mattered little, would he really get the magic police after a pickpocketer? Especially if he has had a few to drink, besides she would dump the non money anyway so what does he have to complain about. "I ah, seem to have lost my way." She said as she moved closer, she needed to get into arms reach, otherwise she can't really rob him can she? 14
Muggle Locations / [March 2nd] New Hunting Grounds [Snapshot]May 25, 2020, 11:22:04 AM A new country, a new land, full of supposed riches, she wasn't followed, they can't follow. Not their control, would inform the Ministry here before they could do anything, how would they know she slipped onto a ship and arrived? She was safe for now, but she needed shelter, preserve herself from the sun, be safe from others also. First she needed money, she had some on her, but the hunt had worn her thin. In dodging Ministry she had to spend alot, leave alot, starve or trail be left, would make her easier to be caught. If she didn't keep running she would be dead, surely they would end her if she was caught.
First she needed money, easy enough. Alot of money? Harder, took more time, difficult to build up. She didn't know anyone to sell to either, she didn't in Paris but here it was even harder, who would she sell to if she stole stuff? Just pickpocketing, annoying but needed obviously, otherwise no money for now. She'd seen signs leading into city, Portsmouth. She can gather money, spend day or two. Then take bus or train, get to London, bigger city more places to hide, center of magic in this country, Ministry would be around but atleast able to hunt easier, along with meeting other Vampires? If there are, although finding magical places is difficult, they're not meant to be known by non magical. She wandered about the city, it wasn't going anywhere in particular, better this way, walk into group of people, take their money, none the wiser. Some shops were open, but nothing in there worth it, people can see her, only things worth is the tills but hard to get to, only people walking. One in a crowd is not that noticeable, especially herself, although she is pale, she needs to feed soon. She looks like a corpse. Gracefully she passed by a few people, none of the wiser of their backpockets being lighter, not until she is gone anyway. She was kind, she didn't take the entire thing, just any cash inside, what was it called here? Pounds? What a weird name, a small smirk raised on her face, someone just going up to another person and asking for a pound. But that was distracting, she dropped the wallets off outside a building, she didn't take them, permanent loan from unsuspecting people. It was for a good cause, was it not? Her survival is a good cause. Someone had spotted her, that was not good. "HEY!" A cry shouted out, some looked, she snapped to look at it, they ran towards her. She had been caught, Ministry? Possibly, safer to run. Hide or ambush, either is better then out in the open. She ran, moving between people, she gripped the top of a bench and jumped, pulling herself over it. Needed a way to slow them down so she could get into position, seeing what is there, an alley, bins near the entrance, perfect. She looked over the items in there, the plastic bins, short roofs, not much but better then open. She ran to the alley, knocking a bin down she jumped ontop, then jumped up onto an upright one, jumping up again she gripped into crevices on the walls, difficult to climb walls, but she could make it, gripping with strength she kicked the other bins down, quickly climbing the building to the roof. Safe off ground, unless they are magic, then just CRACK onto the roof. But they weren't, human? Likely. She lay flat ontop of the roof, crawling along, she could hear them breathing in the alley, they didn't know where she went, the fool. She could hear them, smell them, she looked over the edges of the roof to look down, they were moving into the alley. Wizard? Hide, but they were not wizard, and were after her, ambush. She slinked along the roof further, following them into the alley. They were alone, foolish. Her mouth started to water, she needed to feed, she usually felt bad for it, but they were hunting her, they could spare some of their blood, she needed to survive. Further into the alley they went, no one was around, or too far away. Now was the time, she stood up and watched, not a far drop, they can cushion. She started climbing half way down the wall then leaped off it, landing ontop the figure, pinning, she had them. "Bonjour monsieur." She hissed, before they could call out she plunged in, she wouldn't kill them, but they won't be hunting her again. 15
