Kingstreet Behind Wizengamot Letter Attacks

Theodora Kingstreet is all but assured to be convicted of the latest serious criminal charges in the murder and attempted murder of six Wizengamot Elders.[1] The trial date is set for the 31st of July. The Department of Magical Law Enforcement plans to present evidence linking Kingstreet to the cursed letters which were sent to the victims.
The break in the case came when a sixth deadly letter meant for a Wizengamot Elder Amaravathy Kulkarni was contained and examined before the curse could manifest.
When the letter arrived at Elder Kulkarni's home in Slandermouth, Elder Kulkarni immediately notified the Wizengamot Administration Services Chief of Staff Charlene Malone (https://absitomen.com/index.php?topic=4451.0), who called in the Aurors.[2]
Elder Kulkarni was tended to by Healers and found to be uninjured. She said, "I knew exactly what to do. I have been very careful these last months, all of us have been. The letter looked dubious and I called it in straight away. Imagine what could have happened if I had opened it?"
The letter was disguised as legitimate communication from the Ludicrous Patent office, but Kulkarni said she had no reason to expect that kind of contact in her home.
Auror Zora Roh and Malone worked together to gather as much evidence about the letter as possible before the curse could destroy itself.
"You can't stop a curse once cast, but you can slow it down," explained Roh. "That gave us time to examine any magic on the letter."
The evidence gathered from this scene combined with evidence gathered from the other attacks was enough to implicate Kingstreet, who is being held in Unreasonable Security cells in Azkaban for previous crimes.
A spokewix from the Department of Magical Law Enforcement could not comment on how they believed Kingstreet could have done it. "That will come out in court. Suffice it to say, it's not possible that [Kingstreet] could have done it alone. We have full intention of taking a hard look at what's going on in Azkaban."
Kingstreet also faces six counts of owl post fraud.
