Title: [July 8] Eyes that Drive Wolves Mad [Anna]
Post by: Delilah Foley on February 11, 2012, 01:05:50 AM
(Early Morning)

A second full moon had waxed and waned it way around the world, taking any of rogue daytime werewolf transformations along for the ride, resulting in a few hairy and tired patients at Mungo's, something barely short of seventy-two hour shifts at the WCU, and and another injured hospital staff member.

A flock tendrils of tightly braided hair were pulled back and falling down the long back of Delilah's white coat as she finished magically melding a set of stiletto nails (http://maniacure.com/sites/maniacure.com/files/imagecache/original/opium_01.jpg) on top of her own. As she finished she stretched her long chocolate fingers and then turned to face Anna.

Along Anna's leg was an open wound, a brisk but bloody cut that was in need of what muggles would call stitches, and what wizards would usually repair with a simple spell or potion; however the wound was magically caused, and would take days for even wizards to magically repair. In such instances, especially for a staff member, is when the General Healer-in-Charge used some rather risky, but effective exotic magic.

And so, a spider (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/66/Nephila-clavipes-1.jpg) had just finished casting a thick golden web on Anna's wound, that clotted the blood of the wound and devoured any infection left over from misshapen magic. The spider then stopped at the edge of the wound and then patiently waited.

"Right, let's get you patched up 'den," Delilah directed one of her red claws towards Anna's wound, and then nodded her dark gaze at the healer-in-training, "How you holding 'di pain? Want any potions?" Being caught up with a mis-transfigured direwolf on the fourth floor was bad enough, but a magically induced wound like Anna's was probably a painful chore to have let alone to put up with.
