Rules

• Please post here, using the Activity Form, if you will be absent from this site for a few days or longer. It also might be a good idea to post if your activity will be significantly slower than normal. We appreciate the notice, and if you have concerns or questions about the Activity Policy, send me a PM. When you have returned to the site, post again to let us know!
  
  
• If you expect to be absent for longer than two weeks, please post the On Hiatus form at the top of your character’s signatures, before any other text.
  
  
• This Hiatus code should make it really easy for us to remember who is away because it’s visible in threads. I suggest using the code for long absences, not for slower posting or absences lasting a few days. When you return, simply remove the code from your character’s signatures. If you forget about the code I’ll add it/remove it for you.

• In the second post you’ll see who is currently on hiatus and when they should be expected back. Your nickname/name will link to your post. Both this thread and the list will be edited periodically to reflect absences and returns.

The last couple of weeks have been very stressful at home. You're all my surrogate brothers and sisters, so I am not going to hide anything from you. My parents are thinking about divorce. Or rather, my mom is thinking about divorce. My dad is wanting to go to a counselor and work out whatever issues she might have. I don't know, but I think that if only one person has issues then a counselor is going to do jack to help out a failing marriage. In my mom's eyes (and words) the marriage had begun to fail 10 years ago, it just took her this long to decide it.

The last thing I can think about is posting. I've tried, and I just can't. Especially with the current plot that Tracey and I have for Marcus and Moira. Which is to say, a fight over how lasting the relationship is going to be. I think it may hit a bit close to home, literally.

I do want to continue this plot in some way, so I'm not going to be away completely. I just need some time to process what is going on. More specifically, I need you all to know that I need this time to process what is going on. I'm not ever leaving this board, and I will not abandon anyone. I just need some time.

I've been gone from the site for a while and I'm probably going to be gone for a bit longer.  There is a lot going on in my life and its hard to even get on the computer, and much less sit down to read over the board and try and get back in the swing of things.  So for the moment, Alex, Ciarra and Cyrus will be MIA until further notice.

Not an absence persay. I have been struggling with some pretty harsh depression lately and because of this, I have been having a really hard time keeping up with my characters. Because of this, I need to cut back a few characters and focus only on the plots that are vitally important to my characters or the main plot. Please don't take this personally if I am unable to plot with you at this time. I will still be here and hopefully I will get out of this funk soon and get back to posting.

Until I am over it, however, the following things are going to happen:

Marc Donnelly and Sidney Dervish are going to be put on ice. You may still reference them. They aren't being dropped or deleted, just put in Hiatus for now.

The "weapon" plot thread for Analiza is being put on ice. I think for now she is going to focus on the Cult of the Phoenix plot instead and pick up the weapon plot later on. THis shouldn't be a big change since only a couple people were part of it.

Devlin is going to be spending some time in Jail because of his shenanigans on the 21st, so sadly that means dropping any plots past that date with him (Sorry Elle... Perhaps we can have an Elle/Knox/Dev thread after he gets out.)

As for classes for Maddie and Keegan, I will try to post at least an entrance but I might not be able to keep up with all of them.

I am going to get to work finishing up what threads I am in and starting the ones that need to be started.

I've got a long list of things to do- and as much as I'm working my will to post has seriously dwindled. last week I worked over 50 hours, this past week it was 64, and next week it is 56. until they quit offering unlimited overtime, i'm working it, so I'll be mostly lurking. and posting on threads I feel inspired for. so please do not be offended! i have not forgotten you if I have not posted. my brain is just in pain
