Callout to WBA!!

So, scattered about, we have a number of people who've approached / want to approach Cin about joining the WBA and as he gets close to being released from the Bridge House, I'd like to see the WBA start to coagulate a little.  To that end, Cin's going to organize a meeting.  Either right before or right after Gawain's murder.  (Probably before). 

Therefore, I'm looking for who all's interested in tossing their characters in and ideas of what you'd want your characters doing / in what way you'd want them involved.  What they might want to do - etc.  This is to help develop some plotting ideas for the meeting so if you have concrete ideas, I'm for those as well.  Or, if you just want your character to join but dont' know in what capacity yet, let me know as well!

And: as an added note, we can arrange meetings as a group or privately.  So, if your charrie wants to meet *under the radar* one on one, we can arrange that, too!  Or, if you want to rp your charrie getting recruited, we can do that as well.

Otherwise, this is cool.  I wonder how Theodora might become involved.  She naturally does not support anything like blood purity, but she is insane and will stop at nothing and all that.

haha you were the first one to post in the plot thread here.  But, yes, it's underway.  The auror has been successfully imperioused and so whenever Michael gets back we're a go.  I'm shooting for the murder happening in game time on the 1st of October.  Or thereabouts - that's the day Cin gets released from the Bridge House so there's going to be a major shindig after his release / Gawain's murder at the Black Chimaera - which there'll be a plot post about sometime soon!

But, - yes - actually.  The two of them should talk more - about business.  Cin's not really a true purist either - more of a wizards are superior to muggles.  Cin's intrigued by Kingstreet but is also a little annoyed with her superiority complex (not that he doesn't have much of an ego, of course).  However, (I haven't figured out how) but Cin's planning on having the WBA's insignia make a showing at the murder - like it did with Akiva so while the name or initials won't be public, it will be common knowledge that something is brewing.  Presumably, she's aware of the meetings taking place even if Cin's not mentioned what they are about but that'd likely pique her interest a little.

Or perhaps one-on-one would be good for him. Though he is completely for the WBA, he wants to keep his social status clean. Since he LUURRRVVVS fame.

Maybe we could try to drag the students into this, also, by having it during a Hogsmeade weekend. Since I'm pretty sure I heard people talking about adding their students to the group.

I'm not quite sure what William could do for the WBA, though...

I'm not sure how Cin is going to pitch this. But I would not put it past him (I could be wrong) to pitch it differently to people based upon the sort of person they are to get them involved...

Liadán could be persuaded if it was described to her in the right way. I could see her being interested considering she is a purist, and she is leaning toward becoming quite dark anyway. (She researches dark magic, and has that heirloom wand which is perfect for nasty little spells. Plus she lurks about Knockturn more often now than she used to.)

I think I'd like to have her involved in some way. It seems like something that would interest her. Her level of involvement might vary, though, depending on what they are up to (if that's playable?). Plus, if it was a chance for her to learn more first-hand about the dark arts which fascinate her, she'd have a hard time resisting considering her budding obsession.

Yup - we can have him meet with William one on one (which most of it might be one on one, anyway.)  Chances are, most of the ones that meet as a group are the ex-Azzies that use it for social connections as well as political.  Cin's probably pushing to make it more active and reaching out to others than the core ex-Azzie/ex-DE population which may mean more 'private consultations.'  The only question will be getting Cin aware of William's interest - which we'll have to figure out somehow.  Unless, somehow, Cin became aware of his interest, somehow William would need to know to approach him.  Any thoughts?  And, Cin'd find something for WIlliam.  Once he got a sense of what William was willing and/or able to do.

Yup!  Cin is currently meeting with some Slytherins to recruit them, tag Vienna as a group leader.  The thread is here.  It's open.  If it seems crowded, you can also touch base with Vienna or Callum and they'll get you recruited.  Chances are, Cin'll probably plan on meeting with all those they recruit on the Hogsmeade weekends.  I haven't figured out his immediate goal with them - I have visions of it being a "Dark Arts study group" of sorts but he'd need to borrow a wand.  Which I dont' think wouldbe hard.  But, yeah.

And, I know when it was originally set up, the WBA wasn't intended to have a leader of sorts.  But, Cin is somewhat emerging as one.  Does anyone object to that?  I suppose the main difference would be that the goals of the WBA would shift somewhat to his goals.  But, yeah.

Mai-- is it all right if Iza sneaks in to grasp one or two of the witches who might be less about blood purity but still interested in world domination? muhuhahahahaha... *Ahem*  I still haven't spoken to anyone else about it, so the plans are up in the air provisionally to see what happens with the WBA and whether there's even a niche...

(In other words, I'd love to run away with it, but Iza's bashing me in the head and warning me that  Cináed has the final say in the matter lol-- and telling me she's perfectly happy just joining the WBA and zapping anybody who gets in his way)
